Prasoon Joshi: a judge who misjudged!

I just saw SRGMP in the US. Who is this Prasoon Joshi clown anyway? What hasiyat does he have to be a guest judge on SRGMP? They couldn't find anyone better so they allowed this laloo to come? Geez, even Tushar last week was better than this guy! He's a mamuli sa ad guy, what the heck does he know about music? How dare he tell Himani she was too over confident and how dare he nit-pick at Nihira for being nervous! Prasoon was trying to impress all with his flowery Hindi and attempt at singing. In reality he is a nobody that really cramped the style of the show!

I thought everyone sang well today. Ujjaini was really good today, too bad she happened to sing well the day she was eliminated. I'm not going to do my usual lengthy ananysis because so many people have already posted about this episdoe. Just wanted to say that Prasoon Joshi pissed me off and made watching the show unbearable for me today.

Guest was not wrong. She should have behaved herself. She has not yet won the contest. She was reacting as if she has won the contest. She has to be in her limits and behave accordingly.

Are we watching the same show? She should've behaved herself? How was she MIS-behaving??? She was not acting like she won the contest at all. And she didn't back-talk to Prasoon either, she respectfully listened to him. "Hulle Hullare" is a boisterous song and she was being boisterous. She was singing with personality and bubbliness. If she was being over-confident, why didn't the mentors point that out? I don't recall any of them saying anything about that to her. She was not over-confident, her confidence is just fine!

i think tht guest guy misunderstood himani's excitement for overconfidence. i dun think she was over confident but she was excited, which is ok cuz punjabi is her mother tongue.

Yes, the judge was totally mis-fit for today's episode. There was nothing wrong with Himani and she was not at all over-confident. I dont know what made him to comment that way

On the other hand, I guess he came to the show assuming,yes or no he has to give some negative comments on the contestants!!! 😆

Actually I agree w/ him...she was not as good today as she has been recently and she did seem over confident today.

And he was not wrong to tell Nihira to try to get into the language she was going to sing in since it is not her language. I thought it was great advice actually.

Mr. Joshi is a Lyricist who recetly gave Lyrics to Rang De Basanti Film. Yea I agree she was not overconfident but excited to be singing a song of her mother toungue. To me no body sang good except Ujjaini. She rocked today. She was not treated properly by any mentor after Jl went off. But my gut feeling is that she has the potential than any contestent out there. She will rock one day and show that she has Dum.
