Hey Anshu apparently Vijay the forum organizer has developed a way by which you can thank any forum member for their posts and not just the original writer and collectively the most thanked person I presume will go on their hall of fame....something along those lines. Anyway while they're trying out this new voting scheme they have to disable the old 'thank you' button. So hence no thankyou button for now. Got this from another site.
