My question is isn't the whole point of this generational leap was to focus on Savri's life and her journeys through life, isn't she the main lead of this show after Saloni if I'm not mistaken so when did it become "The Shweta Show" because I haven't seen anything important related to Savri other than she is NS daughter.

Kool you are so right this show has done nothing for dark-skinned girls, if anything, its made things worse. This was the first Indian serial I ever watched and at first I was so impressed. But now I am sad I ever watched this show, as its message perpetuates the stereotypical, assinine views that exist in these modern times. Prejudice will always be alive and well in our society; how disgusting to show it so prominently as entertainment. I am glad this show is going off, but ultimately I am sorry it ever came on.

Stereotypical asinine views is oh so correct . SP reminds me of the Phantom comics i read as a child ..........the white man protecting the dark pygmies in the deep African forests . Dark girls can have no identity or life of their own except by latching on to some white Sundari , however spoilt she is [ like Tara ] and protecting her like it is her life's mission ! The impact of this show was such once upon a time that by the time it ended , it shud have sent boys scuttling after dark gals once this show ended as they got a reformed viewpoint of this whole ' fair bride ' business , and articles in magazines vouching for the statistics shud have appeared . That good this show really was . But they chose to play it safe and only sugarcoated the prejudice nstead of shredding it to pieces .

Shweta Rajvir romance . [ The Ramprasad Sawri one is still not as interesting as the dumb Sawri lacks passion .]
Shweta Aman fiasco . Aman attacking Shweta .
And what does Sawri do ? Give Shweta milk . Gets Shweta ready . Protects Shweta .
Rachna Parulkar is so beautiful , why has she been given this subservient role ?
The bitter truth is this ..........SP makers r not confident of running the show on a dark girl's shoulders alone and so these fair gals r roped in , and this kind of co ordination between the fair gal and dark gal is introduced , that the dark gal is really very very nice as she protects the fair one with her life even . Sp wallahs , if they read this post , will say what rubbish , we were the first ones to bring forth the concept of dark is beautiful etc etc. But the niceness of the dark gal is portrayed totally as her ability to protect the fair beauty . She is shown so meek , so subservient that one says ' poor gal ' ! Instead of showing her unafraid , totally comfortable with her looks , capable of entering a competition and beating a spoilt fair gal in it , they show only this . So what if Saloni phase ended , Rachana Parulkar is every bit as beautiful as Rajshree . But Truth is SP creatives ont have confidence that a dark gal can carry the show on her shoulders without the fair leverage .

Yes SP definetely gave dark gals a chance and so we have this expectation from SP . That show them as heroines who r winners , not losers . And definetely not as bodyguards of fair gals . That is offensive .

Today's episode has proved that beauty is in features not in colour, when kaveri stops the car to see who it was & Saloni's face emerges from behind the window, the close up of the two ladies is shown & wow!! Saloni was looking far more beautiful than Kaveri, so garceful & gorgeous.
Saloni no matter how dark she is but she has very sharp features.
Dark girls are more attractive.
