Siddhesh - Underrated today

I thought Siddhesh was really good today, infact much better then yesterday. Mastering an Indian classical dance in a few days is definitely an achievement. I wish Siddhesh was given more steps and the talking was reduced as that was the only thing lacking in his performance today.

i agree, his dance was really good....and alot better than some other contestants..but, what can we do?

I totally agree with you. Kathak is not an easy dance to do and that too in 2 days. Siddesh was pretty good. I hope that Geeta would have choreographed it better with more dance. She could have done the tabla and steps combination. I would have preferred it more than his talking the boles.

I went Wooooooooooooooooooooooooooooowwwwwwwwwwww for Siddesh....His footwork, Expressions and Bol were superb...

I was impressed by Siddesh's kathak! But I wish there was less talking, and more dancing. And Siddesh was looking very nice in blue!

I actually liked his dance too (which I don't usually, sorry) but the talking bits were a bit too much. I think he would have gotten more points if he hadn't done that. I mean, if he had spun around (like he was when he was doing the bits with his mouth and playing with the cameras) while doing something with his feet, it would have made it much better and he would have maybe gotten more points. But how come he didn't get a second dance like everyone else? ...you know, other than the fact that his partner left.

All due to Geeta Maa the talented kid is not getting all the right praise.. i mean what we saw in his auditions and what we see here... Siddesh is so talented but how would he cross the bar.. with proper guidin and Geeta isnt givign that high level to him.. excuse of she istn trained.. so what .... jitna karoo achaa karo..taken that point..but why waste precious seconds .. there are many circles which kathak dancers take and they are the high point in finishing a kathak act.. Siddesh shoudl have given that too i guess. and as terrence rightly said. whatver he did he did it well.. but what he couldnt was all due to Geeta and her choregrapgy which doesnt impress most of the times...:(

Siddesh was very good. He could have done much better if he was given better choreographer.

That being said, I personally didnt find the tatkal so bad. Yeah it could have been removed by having someone else say it and him match it with steps. (Bt the way he did, as in saying it first and then doing the steps on those beats is exactly how they teach you in initial stages)
