K Balaji was a great supporting actor. He found a lot of meaningful roles, specially besides Sivaji Ganesan. Sivaji was a good friend of his.

He has made many memorable films. First Nagesh and now Balaji. That's a tremendous shock.

May he rest in peace.

Another great stalwart. Nambiar, Nagesh, Oomaikuchi, now him...looks like the old guard is disappearing.

His son is Daniel Balaji.
