Wow....it's been ages that I've opened a topic in the DMG forum. But because I have started watching DMG again, I just started visiting and reading the daily discussions on the forum. And the whole "entry of new interns" issue seems to have created a lot of confusion and anxiety around here. If anyone here watches Grey's Anatomy, they have probably figured out why these new interns are being bought in. Karan had once stated in some interview how when DMG had started, it was supposedly based on Grey's Anatomy but later turned into Scrubs. And some weeks ago, I think Keerti stated how the gang's internship was getting over.

Well here's the thing. These guys are finishing up their internship. Soon, all of them will be residents, like Dr.Keerti, with their own five interns working under each of them. That's why all these new people are being bought in. But that doesn't change anything, as the new interns are there just as a fillers.The story will still focus on Armaan, Ridhima, Rahul, Muskaan, Atul and Angie. But now as residents.

The same thing happened in Grey's Anatomy. In their fourth season, all the main characters became residents with their own interns under them. There were like 20 new people introduced justto show the regular procedure of a hospital.They really have no screen time. This is how it works.

So there's actually nothing to worry when it comes to the entry of the new interns.

Hey even i was thinkin da same...i ve watched a couple of episodes of grey's anatomy...hp dats da only thing...de ll b better dat way...

thanks..i think ur right too.. after all, these people have been interns for ever..its high time they finish up their internship..
however, i think that may cut down on some of the original cast.. keerti and shubhankar for instance.. we may see them relocating after their marriage or something..since, she wont be needed to give duties for our gang anymore..
and rahul and muskaan are virtually absent nowdays.. maybe their role may end too?
new faces r okay, but too many of them will only lead to confusion! and i'll love to see riddhima giving duties in the stern voice a la keerti... and armaan drooling from one corner like shubhankar! 😆 .. this might give the show the much needed boost.
