Firstly, APOLOGIES for the late-posting of today's update, Erum unfortunately has been unable to do it; and I only just come online/realised ...
It's another DARK-episode today ..despite Arjun's remorse, there is STILL no hope for their relationship to be saved. I guess the lyrics best suiting Arjun today are:-

Update
Arohi walks away sadly recalling Arjun's "announcement"; when Arjun calls out for her from behind. He asks how she could just leave without congratulating him. Arohi turns around and "congratulates" him, and as she begins to leave; Arjun purposely "thanks" her; and asks her to do a favour for him - that is, to tell his mom:
to stop making stories up about his father he's not like his father, or more correctly, like her husband, who took 16 years to realise his mistake; and - that she should find another rich guy for Arohi, as he cannot be so easily trapped; especially now that he's "booked" for Natasha (at this moment in time, you SO deserve her!)
Arohi quietly listens to his monologue, and eventually begins to walk away, when once again he stops her... telling her that in fact there is no need for the third point. His own engagement is to take place in 2 days time, and there will be many rich, famous, eligible bachelors, whom he can personally introduce Arohi too. And on that note, her tells her that she's officially invited, and should make sure that his mom comes too. As he begins to walk away, Arohi asks if he has anything else to add. Caught slightly off guard - he says yes - the lift's colour irritates him, so she should arrange to have it changed today. She tells him she understands his instructions clearly - it won't remain the same after today; and leaves. (poor girl! ..I'm SO impressed by her attitude, about time that came through in our daily soaps! šš¼)
In his room, Arjun begins to drink one shot after another; and in his state of restlessness, he starts to write a SMS-message but almost immediately throws his phone away in frustration. He then knocks over the side-table lamp. DK comes in on hearing the commotion - concerned that the guests will hear the noise too. Arjun tries to reassure him, and asks to be left alone, but DK refuses, at which point, Arjun knocks over some of the ornaments on a nearby shelf.
DK tries to calm Arjun down. (funny ..jab ke DK ne hudh hi tho aag lagayi hui hai! ) And asks, if it's owing to that "girl". Arjun says no, she makes no difference to him, even in the slightest - in fact, for all he cares, she may as well be dead. (she may not be literally, but after today, she is "dead" as far as you're concerned šš¼)
Arjun tells DK that he's happy that their (ie. his mom and Arohi's) plan has been cancelled; and whilst he knows very well that one shouldn't behave like that with a girl - he did nonetheless. For 15 minutes he tortured her, enough to break her confidence (so you LIKE to think my dear! š); by making her cry for the entire duration. DK appears dumbfounded. (didn't realise you'd created SUCH a monster, did you! ..ugggh!) Arjun continues to tell DK that the "crazy" girl in fact declared her love for him today; and whilst she was probably just acting, for a moment he felt her break-down for real. (*disappointedly shakes head*)
DK asks Arjun why HE is crying. Arjun moves away, saying he doesn't know. When someone gives you pain/intentionally hurts you; you also want to do the same with them. Yet, having tortured her today, he is now feeling awful for it; and eventually begins to regret his actions. (phew! ..he STILL has a HEART! š³) However, DK incites him further - saying that that is what happens in love - you always fall, never rise in it. And for that reason, he had called him, to suggest that he humiliates her, to ensure that she never attempts to give him any "false" hope. And is confident that his new relationship with Natasha, will help Arjun get over his "old" baggage (did you do that with Savita?! ..practice what you preach first! š”)

PRECAP - DK tells Mohan that even after 16 years he cannot bring himself to tell Arjun the truth. In his life, he's told two lies:
to Savita - because he had wanted to earn money; and to Arjun - for the sake of his own future
Paddy warns Mohan that she doubts Arjun-Natasha's marriage will last, as she knows Arjun loves only Arohi (a GLIMMER of hope ..shayed Uncle Mohan kuch kar dhe ššš)
