Highlights : Suguna starts school
Vikrant plays a prank on Suguna
In the woods, Suguna turns the young man around and sees a strange new face smiling at her. She is shocked and sad. She cries out that its not her Pratap and runs away. The young man is puzzled. He remembers seeing yellow flowers in her hand and sees them around the trees..
At school, the headmaster is very happy that Suguna has resumed school. He tells her to study well. Suguna is in the same class as Phooli and Jagya. Suguna looks out of the window and sees kids playing. This brings a smile on her face.
At the haveli, Sumitra shows some of Suguna's old jewellery to Badi Maasi. Badi maasi asks her where she got them since she thought Maasa had gotten rid of all of Suguna's old stuff. Sumitra tells her that she had saved all of Suguna's childhood stuff much before the gauna, thinking this would help her remember her daughter when she had gone off to her in-laws' house. Both of them talk about Suguna's future.
After school, Jagya and Phooli plan to eat gola. Two of the young widows from the temple (Lata and Durga) approach Suguna and introduce themselves. Durga asks Suguna if she is really going to school to study and Suguna says she is. Lata asks her how she convinced her family and Suguna tells them that her family saw that she would be happy this way. Lata expresses her desire to go to school as well. Suguna urges the two girls to talk to their families and convince them. The girls leave.
As Jagya and Phooli leave, Suguna sits under a tree waiting for them, remembering Pratap. There is a shower of yellow flowers on her. She is shocked and wonder where they came from. Vikrant comes out of hiding and tells her that it was his doing. He says that he knows nothing about her. He asks her if she was able to meet her Pratap. Seeing Suguna's shocked face, Vikrant tells her that he was only trying to have fun and apologises if he hurt her. Suguna angrily tells him that her name is Suguna and she is Pratap's widow. This shocks Vikrant. Suguna tells him that playing with someone's emotions is no fun. She tells him to never come in front of her and leaves.
At night Suguna sits in her room studying. Sumitra comes there with milk for her. She asks Suguna about her first day in school. Suguna tells her that it had brought back all the happy childhood memories and that she is very happy to go back to school..
