Kasthuri tells Thiru about her suspicion of Ram's involvement in Rekha's disappearance. She tells Thiru about how she had made appointment to meet with the Police Commissioner with Radha. Then the same day Kavya was kidnapped and she could not go. Ram had lied to Radha about him meeting with the PC when he did not. Kasthuri feels Ram knows about Rekha's whereabouts and is pretending in front of Radha as though he is looking for Rekha. Thiru tells Kasthuri not to hesitate in seeking his help in this matter and tells her to be careful.

Bharath and Jayanthi arrive at a ladies hostel and ask about renting a roomfor Jayanthi there. The receptionist tells them that Jayanthi has to share a room with two other room-mate as there is not single room available. Jayanthi says she can manage and accepts. The receptionist then tells them after a medical check-up, she would be accepted. Jayanthi is shocked and frightened and ask why. The lady explains that before they did not have that rule but after a tenant had suddenly died, they have set this rules so that no problems arise. Jayanthi want to go find another hostel but Bharath says they too will have some similar rules and tells her not to worry as he will take care of the matter. The receptionist brings a form to be completed and Bharath fills the form and puts his name as Jayanthi's husband and asks her to sign. He then pays for the rent and hands over the completed form.

Amirtha meets with with Kasthuri who is very upset about the turn of events in her relationship with Kavya. Kasthuri tells Amirtha it was Ram who had brainwashed Kavya so that her planned wedding wouldnot take place. Amirtha asks why she is not confronting Ram about this. Kasthuri tells her about her suspicion and wants to secretly follow Ram to find out the truth. Jayanthi asks Bharath why he had signed as her husband. Bharath says he had no choice and says to cover one mistake they had to make another. He then tells her to get ready to go meet with the doctor.

Ram is on his cell (probably with Soma) happily talking about his easy life. He hears Radha come down the stairs and immediately changes topic to Rekha and tells the other person how sad he is without Rekha and wants her to be found soon. He hangs up and tells Radha he was ont he line with his friend from Bombay and is asking him to check on Rekha and that he too will be going to Bombay the next day. Kasthuri arrives there and tells Radha she received a call from Rekha. Ram is totally shocked. Radha asks where Rekha is and how she is doing. Kasthuri says Rekha told her she is fine and she is in a meeting and will call back in the evening and speak with Radha at that time. Ram looks visibly shaken. Kasthuri tells Radha not to worry as they will soon find out everything. Ram stares at Kasthuri. THODARUM.

Radha tells Kasthuri that Ram is planning to go to Bombay to look for Rekha. Kasthuri asks why go there when Rekha is not there and when Radha asks how she knows, Kashturi says when Rekha calls, they will find out from her. Kashturi tells Radha that no need to go to Bombay now and wait until they have spoken to Rekha and leaves. Radha tells Ram to wait another day and Ram has no choice but to agree.

Bharath takes Jayanthi to the doctor. The doctor tells them it is impossible to do the abortion now as she is more than 3 months pregnant and also it is against the law. At the same time it is dangerous to Jayanthi's life. Jayanthi says she is willing to sign any papers disclaiming the doctor's responsibility for any mishaps. Doctor tells them no way and no other doctor will agree to it either. Both Jayanthi and Bharath leave the hospital. They are met with Mangai's friend who asks then what they are doingin town. Bharath tells about looking for a job for Jayanthi. The friend tells them to call her if they need any help and gives Bharath her telephone number and leaves.

Jothi is at home and Masil arrives with bags of clothings. He asks where Kasthuri is and Jothi tells him she is out. Masil gives her the bags saying he had gone shopping for everyone for the wedding. He then asks if Thiru is back from Singapore and if they had fixed the wedding date. Jothi then tells about the kidnapping and how Kavya knows about Kasthuri is not Simi, etc. Masil talks to Kasthuri and she tells him about Ram brainwashing Kavya and also about Rekha's disappearance and her suspicions about Ram. Masil gets angry and wants to confront Ram but Kasthuri stops him. Bharath and Jayanthi outside a temple. Jayanthi cries and says she feels bad that Bharath has to go thru so much trouble because of her. Bharath tells her not to worry. He gives her som money and tells her he will send her to the hostel and has to go back to their hometown. He tells Jayanthi not to think about suicide as it will not solve anything and for her remember she promised him.

Santhia at the police station and one of her constables bring a guy who is an eve teaser. Santhia tells the constable to put him behind bars. Thiru arrives and tells about his talk with Kavya. He tells her his suspicions about Ram being involved in the kidnapping. He tells Santhia about Ram being Kasthuri's ex and how Ram hates seeing Kasthuri succeed in anything at all. He tells her how Ram had always given trouble to Kasthuri. Thiru then tells Santhia he will follow her instructions about Ram. Santhia asks how is hte wedding plan is coming and Thiru tells about Kasthuri not agreeing because of Kavya's state of mind. Santhia then asks if Thiru's and Simi's had been a love marriage and Thiru says yes. Santhia then says when wife dies, husbands become new groom and same has happened to Thiru. Thiru stares at Santhia. THODARUM.

Sorry for the brief update folks! Nothing much to update anyway.

Thiru is confused at Santhia's words and tells her he is marrying Kashturi because his 5 year old daughter needs a mother and not because he needs a wife. Thiru takes leave.

Bharath comes back after leaving Jayanthi at the hostel. Mangai asks why leave Jayanthi there when she is only starting work in a week's time. Bharath tells her it is better so that Jayanthi can get used to life in a histel. Bharath goes in saying he needs to get ready for work. Mangai tells her mother their neighbors were wrong in talking bad about her husband but mother tells her that they should make sure that it does not become true.

Thiru meets Ram and confronts him about his involvement with Kavya's kidnapping and him brainwashing her. Ram denies but Thiru tells him that he let Ram go because Kasthuri wanted it. Ram laughs and sneers at Thiru and both men get into a scuffle. Thiru leaves Ram saying he will take care of Ram later. Amirtha goes to visit Sanjeev who seems to be living in a construction site. She offers him a room in her house where she lives with her room-mate and leaves. Sanjeev is happy about this as he wants to make use of Amirtha for his financial gains.

Kasthuri waits and Ram arrives there. Ram asks for Rekha's telephone numbre but Kasthuri refuses to give saying Rekha had told her never to give him the number. Kasthuri then asks why Ram does not seem worried about Rekha and had not done anything to look for her. Ram sys he is doing everything he can but Kasthuri refuses to believe him. She asks why he had not reported to the police yet. Ram says he has been trying to call Rekha on her cell but no answer. Kasthuri takes out a cell from her bag and asks if he had call to the phone in her hand. Ram is shocked. THODARUM.

Our World's most stupidest(mind my language here!Thousand appologies folks😒) sleuth in the world, Miss Vaathu Kasthuri shows Ram Rekha's telephone. Ram is shocked. Rekha asks how can Rekha answeres the phone when it is in his pocket and off all the time. She tells Ram she knows Ram has something to do with Rekha's disappearance. She continues to tell him about how she got the phone from his pants pocket. One day she goes to Rekha's house and aks Radha if she can change as her saree is soiled. Radha asks her to go change in Rekha's room. Inside out detective looks and find the phone. Kasthuri tells Ram to better tell her where Rekha is. She further informs Ram she has not told Radha anything about this and warns Ram not to make her and leaves.

Thiru meets Masil and Masil tells he has set the 10th of the following month for Kashturi-Thiru wedding. Thiru says ok but says he is sending Kavya to the hospital. Masil asks why and Thiru says it is for her protection and also does not want Kavya to witness the wedding as she is not in the condition to accept Kasthuri as her mother. Thiru tells Masil Kasthuri knows about this but against it and wants Kavya with them. He tells Masil everything will work out and he will take care of Kasthuri well.

Ram meets with Balu(Soma's manager) and tells him about Kasthuri finding the phone and is using it to threaten him. Balu tells Ram to kill Kasthuri as he did Rekha. He says no matter now many people Ram kills he wil only be hanged once. Ram gets pissed off and goes off saying it was a mistake to meet Balu.

Vishu, Masil and Jothi discussing about Thiru-Kasthuri wedding. Kasthuri arrives and all talk about food etc. Radha comes there and asks about where Rekha had called her from and if she had calle dagain. Vishu takes this opportunity to tell Radha he told her not to let Rekha return to Ram and see now what had happened. Kasthuri stops her father saying this is not the time and takes Radha out and tells her she lied about Rekha's call. Radha gets angry and wants to know why but Kasthuri refuses to tell her the reason. Kasthuri asks Radha to follow her to the police station to lodge a report immediately. Radha gets her phone out to call Ram but Kasthuri stops her saying they should not tell Ram. Radha is hesitant, Kasthuri tells her to follow if Radha trusts her and she follows. THODARUM.

Vaathu and Kuthu(Oops Sorry I meant Kashturi and Radha) meet Santhia and report Rekha's disappearance. Santhia asks Radha why Ram is not there and Kasthuri says they did not tell Ram about going ot the police. Santhia notices Kasthuri's trouble face and asks Radha to wait outside while she talks to Kasthuri in private. After Radha leaves Santhia asks Kasthuri what she has to say and Kasthuri tells her about her suspicions on Ram but conveniently forgets about the cell phone. Kasthuri gets up to leave and Santhia asks how is Thiru. Kasturi tells her he is fine and Santhia says there is an account not settled between her and Thiru. Kasthuri is confused and asks what she means, Santhia says he still owes her a treat for Kavya's safe return. Kasthuri tells her that can be easily arranged and leaves.

Masil Jothi and Ganesh sit around and talk. Masil talks about the impeding Thiru-Kasthuri wedding and when that has taken place he will goback to the village with his wife. Jothi then asks what about Ganesh's wedding. Masil asks if Ganesh has anyone in mind and he says no. Masil then decides to look for a bride for him soon. Ganesh leaves saying he has something to do.

Radha at home crying about Rekha and goes to the pooja room to pray. Santhia arrives and is welcomed inside. Santhia wants to see Rekha's room and is taken to the room. Santhosh is sleeping ont he bed. Radha explains that Santhosh is not well. Santhia asks if Radha and Rekha have enemies. Radha says not that she knows of. Santhia wnts to know about Kasthuri and Radha asks if she is a suspect. Santhia says she needs to think from every angle. The go downstairs and Santhia asks for Ram and is told he has gone out and Radha informs Santhia she had already told Ram about them reporting ot the police. Santhia tells Rekha to ask Ram to go to the station to see her. Santhia then asks Radha to take her to the backyard. While looking around, Santhia's sunglasses fall down and when she looks down, finds that the ground had been recently tampered with and looks closely. THODARUM.

Santhia picks up her glasses and looks at the ground. She tells Radha not to worry as she will take care of things. She asks Radha to tell Ram see her and leaves. Kavya in her room combing her hair and gets ready to go to school. Kasthuri enters and tries to help Kavya but Kavya brushes her aside and tells her to go away. Kasthuri asks her to eat and again Kavya tells her off. Thiru comes in and asks Kavya to behave but Kavya refuses and wants to go to school. Thiru tells her to rest for a week and then go but Kavya is adamant. Thiru relents and says he will take her to schook but Kavya tells him no need as she will go with the driver and leaves. Kasthuri as usual cries and Thiru pacifies by tellingher it will all be okay as time passes. He tells Kasthuri he is going to the school to tell the principal not to let Kavya leavev with any one other than himself, Kasthuri or their driver.

Amirtha making chapaties and her friend (can't remember the name!Sorry) comes in and is ready to leave for training in another state for 6 months. Amirtha tells her she will miss her friend. Both friends joke around and Amirtha's cell rings and it is Sanjeev. Friend answers and give the phone to Amirtha. Sanjeev tells Amirtha he is going to get copies of his certificates and willbe late. Amirtha tells him to go ahead and she will inform the hospital he will be 2 hours late. Friend listens but has some doubts. After Amirtha disconnects, friend takes her to motaimaadi to talk.

Ram arrives at the Police Station, goes straight to Santhia's table and sits ont he chair. Ram smiles at Santhia but Santhia tells him she did not ask him to sit. Ram's face changes but keeps sitting. Again Santhia reminds him he was not asked to sit. Ram gets up and Santhia says his name, he is Kasthuri's ex-husband and Rekha's present husband and also murdered annamalai's SIL. Ram is flustered. Santhia asks him to sit down and asks where Rekha is. Ram says he is looking for her and lies he had reported to the Commisisoner's office. Santhia says if that is so, she should hav known and till now no such report. Rams says he doesn't know. Santhia then asks about Kavya and Ram denies he has anything to do with Kavya and he doesn't know who she is. Santhia then tells Ram to leave but says he needs to cooperate with her and come when he is asked to. Ram leaves. Santhia calls one of her constables and tells him to follow Ram and report where he is going, who he meets and what he is doing. THODARUM.

Jothi asks Ganesh to eat before he leaves, but Ganesh says he has work to do and leavs. Masil tells Jothi Ganesh will not listen to her but will sonn be listening to his wife. Jothi tells Masil she is going to shower and then they can eat together. Jothi takes off her chain and turns to leave and there is a knock on the door. Masil tells her to see who it is. Jothi opens to see a sales person selling incense sticks. Jothi tells her they have enough but hte lady tells her she has been trying to sell since morning but no sales so far. Masil gives Jothi some money to buy incense from the lady and leaves. Jothi pays her and takes the boxes. The lady asks for water as she is thirsty and after drinking leaves.

Jayanthi opens her toom door to find her sister's , friend Kala. Both are surprised to see each other. Friend tells Jayanthi she can get her a job at her office. Jayanthi is now worried because the friend also stays at te same room at the hostel and might find out about her. Ater her shower, Jothi finds her chain missing and suspects the sales lady of taking it. Masil tells her not to suspect poor people and to look for it and leaves. Jothi is sure she had left it on the table.

Masil is going somewhere when he sees the lady who sold incense fall down with fits. He helps her and the lady regains consiousness. The lady thanks Masil and admits she stole the chain. She returns the chain and apologizes to Masil. Masil tells her to forget about it and offers to take her home but the lady declines. Masil returns home and tells Ganesh who is there to be ready in five minuetes as they are leaving to go somewhere. Ganesh asks Jothi where but Jothi does not say anything. Masil goes to the kitchen and drinks some water and comes out with the chain in his hand saying he found it there. Jothi is sure she did not leave it in the kitchen but Masil says Jothi is so forgetful and gives it to her.

Bharath is reading in the room. Mangai comes in and tells him she might be pregnant. Bharat is happy and asks if she has informed her mother. Mangai says she has not and wants to wait for another week and will inform her mother when she is 100 percent sure. Jayanthi calls and informs Bharat that Kala is her room mate and she iswilling to get a job or her in her company. Jayathi also tells Bharath she is afraid Kala might find out. Bharat tells her not to worry and that he will be there to visit in a weeks time. THODARUM.

Kasthuri reading the papers. Masil and Jothi arrive and Kasthuri is happy to see them and asks when they came back from Tirupathi😲. Masil says they are just now returning and removes the tunic on his head to reveal his baldness! Kasthuri asks whe did he become so pious to bald his head. Masil says he was praying for something good for the family and decided to sacrifice his crown. He then tells Kasthuri that Vishu is coming in the evening and they have to talk to her about something important.

Kasthuri praying and when she is done, turns to see Jothi, Masil and Vishu there. They ask her to sit down and tell her they have decided that her marriage with Thiru has been fixed and want her to agree. Kasthuri hesitates at first but gives her consent. Everyone is happy and when Thiru joins them, they tell hime the news and he too is very happy.

Kasthuri meets with Amirtha and tell her she needs to stop the wedding. Amirtha tells her not to as this would be her enemies' victory. Kasthuri then says she wants Rekha to be at her wedding. She also tells Amirtha that she is worried something bad has befallen Rekha and that is why there is no news from her. Kasthuri says she has lodged a report at the police station and hopes they will be aggresive in their search. She also says she will be more active in her bid to search for Rekha. Their conversation is heard by Soma's manager Balu.

Balu and Soma meet in the woods. Soma is surprised that Kasthuri-Thiru wedding will be going on. He cannot believe that Kavya's attitude did not blow up any bigger. Soma wants the wedding to be stopped at any cost. Ram arrives and Soma asks if he knows anything about Kasthuri-Thiru wedding and the date has been fixed. Ram just stares at them and says he does not. Soma asks if his mother did not tell him and Ram says he has not seen his mother in a long time and now Jothi is on Kasthuri's side. Soma says something to Ram in muted dialog and Ram leaves.

It is Masil's turn to read the papers. Jothi goes to him and asks if they can go visit Radha and console her. Masil refuses saying he will have to meet Ram. He tells Jothi to go but she doesn't want to without Masil. Vishu arrives and says he wants to go home but Masil tells him not to as they have a lot of work to do. He then says Thiru and Kasthuri are about to leave to look at a land for their new business and they should all bless them. Kasthuri and Thiru fall at their feet and get blessing. Kavya returns from school and looks at them angrily. THODARUM.

Kavya watches with anger as Kasthuri takes blessing from her parents. She drops her bag and runs to Kasthuri and asks her who gave permission to wear her mother's saree and pulls at the saree. Kavya demands Kasthuri to take that saree off immediately. Thiru tries to talk to Kavya but Kavya refuse to listen and is very rude to Kasthuri. Thiru raises his hand but Kasthuri stops him and tells Kavya she will take the saree off and goes into her room and drops on the bed crying. Everyone is shocked. Kavya sits on the sofa and starts biting her finger nails. Jothi goes in and tells Kasthuri not to worry so much as Kavya is a little girl and doesn't realize what sheis doing. Kala, Mangai's friend visits her and tells them not tow orry about Jayanthi as she is there and will keep her company. Kala tells Mangai she met Bharath and Jayanti at a hospiral in Chennai. Mangai is surprised and calls Bharath and asks him what he was doing in a hospital there. Bharath tells her he had the flu and had to see the doctor and when coming out met Kala. Kala says she is leaving for Chennai and Mangai tells her to inform Jayanthi that she and her mother will be visiting her the following week. Bharath is worried hearing this.

Kavya meets Thiru outside and tells hims he will go away and leave Kavya and him alone. She feels that Kavya will never accept her as her mother and it is no use trying to change her mind. Thiru tells Kasthuri to give him some time and if Kavya is still the same, he will take Kavya and move away. Kasthuri looks at him with tears in her eyes. Later that night Kasthuri reflects on her conversation with Thiru. She feels that she has been giving Ram too much leeway and wants to put a stop to all his misdeeds. She vows to take Ram down and make him pay for his sins.

Amirtha bring Sanjeev to her house and introduces him as her relative to the house owner. She tells the lady he is looking for accomodation and if itis okay for him to stay with her for a few days, the lady agree and Amirtha takes him in. She tells him to make himself comfortable. Amirtha asks if Sanjeev is happy and he thanks her for her help. Ram and Balu are at the roadside talking. Kasthuri driving by in a car sees them and tellsher driver to stop. She gets down and watches them for a minute. She calls someone and tells the person something -all in muted dialog and hangs up. THODARUM.

Sindha doing her prayers, Bharath and Mangai go to her and wait till she is done. Mangai then asks her mother to bless her. Sindha asks what is the occasion and Mangai informs about her pregnancy. Sindha is very happy and asks Bharath to take her to the doctors for check up. Mangai says she wants to wait at least 10 days. Mother asks if Mangai has informed Jayanthi. Mangai says she will let her know. Balu is on his way out and his cell rings. Balu answers and it is Soma on the other line telling him not to meet him. Soma tells Balu that Radha and Kasthuri have gone to the police and reported Rekha's disappearance and they suspect Ram. He is afraid that the police will be after anyone associated with Ram. Balu says ok and disconnects. He walks outside and a police jeep stops and arrests him for Rekha's murder.

Kasthuri meets Amirtha and tells her she suspects Ram murdering Rekha. She tells her about how Ram was acting suspiciously when she went to see Rekha about the documents that Rekha had given her. Ram has been hasty in getting her out of the house for some reason. Balu being interrogated by the police who threaten him of severe police treatment ifhe does not confess. Balu says he does not know know anything. The police then say that he has been arrested based on Ram's written complaint that Balu had killed his wife. Balu gets angry and spills the beans on how Ram had shot and killed Rekha and buried her in the guest house backyard. All this is being recorded by Kasthuri who is listening outside. One of the constables leave telling the other to watch Balu. The constable take the cassette out and hands over to Kasthuri. Balu sees this and is shocked. Kasthuri tells the men to take care of Balu and not to let him out of their sight and if necessary to move him to a different place. Balu asks the men if they are not real police. The men laugh and tell him they are not working for government but they are Kasthuri police.

Kasthuri takes the cassette and plays it for Thiru who is shocked. He wants Kasthuri to hand it over to the police. Kasthuri tells him she will but need to get Rekha out of the house and to a safe place. Thiru asks why and Kasthuri says Ram may try to harm her. Thiru agrees. Kasthuri meets Amirtha again at a restaurant and tells her everything. Amirtha too is shocked and tells Kasthuri to be careful as she may be in danger. Kasthuri tells her not to worry. Unknown to them a man at the next table is listening to their conversation.

Radha is sleeping in her room. Ram goes in and looks at her for a minute and takes a pillow and smothers her. He takes the pillow off and has a evil smile on his face. THODARUM.
