Ram kills Radha and smiles - Kasthuri wakes up with a jolt and is worried (OF COURSE IT IS A DREAM !) Kala asks Jayanthi to go with the office with her and submit her application. Jayanthi tells she wants to wait for her BIL as he had promised to take her to a company for job. Kala says ok and says she is going home and will meet Jayanthi's mother. Suddenly Jayanthi gets sick and throws up. Kala asks what is wrong and Jayanthi syas it is because of the food she ate the day before. Kala laughs and says all this while, Jayanthi had been eating home cooked food and now the hostel food is not agreeing with her. She says Jayanthi will definitely get used to it and leaves. Jayanthi tells Kala not to tell her mother about her being sick because mother will be worried. Balu who is tied up thinks of a way to escape. He sees one of the men wanting to go buy food and asks him to buy for him too. After the man leaves, Balu asks the 2nd man to untie him as he needs to answer nature call. The man refuses at first but agrees and unties Balu. Balu hits the man and runs off.

Balu runs off and meets Soma and tells him about Kasthuri hiring some men disguised as police and took him in. Soma gets angy and tells him he should have been more careful. Balu tells him he has spilled the beans and Kasthuri has taped everything. Soma is upset as Balu escaped without getting the tape. Soma calls Ram and tells him everything. Ram is worried. Soma tells Ram to go underground or he will be definitely be put in jail. Soma then tells Ram to inform Radha he is going somewhere to look for Rekha so that Radha does not suspect him. Ram says the police willnot let him go but Soma tells him they will worried about that later. Ram agrees. Soma tells Ram not to call him. Bharath and Mangai praying at the temple. Mangai thanks her husband for coming to the temple with her. Bharath says he is very happy that he is going to be a father and wants at least 7/8 children. Both husband and wife sit down and happily talk about the new edition to the family.

Amirtha goes to Radha's house and tells her that Kasthuri had informed her about Rekha being with her friend in Mumbai. Radha is surprised and says that once before Kasthuri had told Rekha called from Mumbai then later said she lied. She asks why are they confusing her. Amirtha says they should follow this lead and go in search for Rekha. Radha tries to call Kasthuri's line but it is busy. Radha says even Ram has gone out of town to look for Rekha and had told her he will not return without Rekha. Amirhta says let Ram to search for Rekha and they can also search for Rekha in Mumbai. Radha is worried as they don't know the actual place and says as far as she knows, Rekha does not have any friends in Mumbai. Radha says she is suspicious because Kasthuri has not talked to her. Amirtha shows the plane ticket and says they have to be at the airport in an hour. Radha asks about Santhosh and Amirtha says Kasthuri will take care of Santhosh. Radha wants to try for Kasthuri again but Amirtha says they can call Kasthuri on the way. Radha asks Amirtha to wait while she tells the maid to let Kasthuri take Santhosh and leaves while Amirtha waits. THODARUM

Radha and Amirtha on the way to the airport. Amirtha calls Kasthuri and informs her they are on the way. Radha asks Kasthuri why the sudden trip to Mumbai. Kasthuri insists they should take whatever lead they get to find Rekha. Radha agrees and says she is hopeful of returning with Rekha. She tells Kashturi to report to the police about her going to Mumbai in seach of Rekha. Kasthuri assures her she will go see inspector Santhya that day.

Kasthuri gets ready to go out and puts the cassette into her bag. The 'policeman' who went ot buy lunch returns to see his partner ont he floor and Balu missing. He gets his friend up and asks what happened. The friend tells him that Balu escaped. They then call Kasthuri and inform her. Kasthuri gets angry and shouts at them for being careless and hangs up. Kasthuri is travelling in her car when a lady stops the car saying her friend is in pain and needs helpto get to the hospital. Kasthuri tells her driver to allow them to get into the car. One lady sits with Kasthuri while the other sits in front. After a distance the lady at the back puts a gun to Kasthuri's head and tells the driver to drive to a place they tell them and if he does not listen, will shoot Kasthuri. Kasthuri tells the driver to go to the police station but driver has no choice but to listen to the ladies as he is afraid for his life. The ladies take them to a secluded place where a few guys come and get the cassette from Kasthuri and run off.

Soma and Balu in a building. Soma says he has sent his thugs to stop Kasturi and get the cassette from her. He tells her he has the greatest mind and always plans ahead. They guys give Soma the cassette and he asks Balu to play it. When the cassette is put into the player they hear the song "emathathe, emathathe, emarathe, emarathe!". Soma asks the men if they bought the cassette from the music shop or from Kasthuri. The men say they got it from Kasthuri. Soma realizes he has been duped and says that Kasthuri is very smart and has anticipated their move.

Kasthuri goes to Santhya and tells her everythig that had happened. Santhya listens and says if Kasthuri was in the Police Department should would have beeen promoted to AC. Santhya then asks about Thiru and Kasthuri tells her he is fine and her parents have arranged their wedding soon. She also says that Santhya must come for her wedding. Santhya says this wedding will not take place and when Kasthuri asks why not - Santhya laughs and says the wedding will not take place without her. Kasthuri takes leave telling Santhya to find Ram soon and make sure he is behind bars.

Bharath and Mangai return from he temple. Sindha asks them to go in and eat. While they are eating, a neighbor comes in and wants to speak with Sindha. Sindha asks what it is and she tells her about her relative looking for a bride for their son who works in Dubai. She says the son is a good person and earns a lot of money. He is due to return from Dubai in June and hopes to get married and leave to Dubai with his wife. She tells Sindha, she thought of Jayanthi and wants to propose the alliance. Sindha asks Mangai her opinion and Mangai says why not. Bharath listens to all this with worry. THODARUM.

Mangai tells the neighbor, Thanam, to ask the boy's family come and see Jayanthi and then they can talk. Bharath intervenes and says Jayanthi left town to go to Chennai to work because she did not want to be pressured into marriage. He says they should ask her opinion before they go further. Sindha and Mangai say it is for them to decide because Jayanthi is not able to make her own decisions. Hearing this, Thanam says since Sindha's mapillai has expressed his opinion, it is better she leaves. Bharath gets up without finishing his food. Sindha looks at him questioningly.

A police jeep stops at Radha's house and Inspector Santhya gets down with a few other officers. Kasthuri follows behind inn her car and joins the police. The see Radha's house locked. Santhya asks where can Radha be and Kasthuri informs her that she had asked Radha to go to Mumbai. Santhya asks why, Kasthuri explains that Radha has health issues and during the investigation, if they find Rekha's body, Radha would not be able to take it. Santhya says Kasthuri is thinking way ahead than the police. Ram comes there but sees the police at the house and stops. He decides not to go to the house because he may be caught. He stays where he is and watches. Santhya asks Kasthuri if she knows where Ram is and she says no. Santhya calls Ram's phone and he answer's it. Ram is asked to return home immediately. Ram says he cannot as he is in Hydrabad. Santhya tells him to take the next flight back but Ram lies saying he met an accident and is getting treatment at the hospital and says he will return after two days. Santhya tells him to do so and call her when he returns and Ram agrees. Santhya tells Kasthuri not to worry as they will search the house when Ram returns.

Sindha talks to Mangai, asking why Bharath is angry when they talked about the proposal for Jayanthi. Mangai says he is the man of the house and Sindha should not make decisions without consulting him, more so when he is right there. Sindha just looks at Mangai and says that Bharath seemed so angry that he did not even finish his food. Mangai defends her husband saying he is not angry just upset. Mangai then asks her mother why she said no vishesham at the house when Thanam asked. Sindha says no need for people to know about Mangai's pregnancy now as she will let them know after a few months. Mangai says ok.

Kavya is reading a book in the living. Thiru comes down the stairs while being on the phone. He trips and falls down. Seeing this, Kavya runs to her dad at the same time Kasthuri runs to him and helps him up. Kavya walks away from them. Thiru tells Kasthuri is is alright then sees Kavya standing there looking away from them. He goes to her and tells her he is alright and 'mommy' helped him. Kavya shouts says sheis not her"mommy" and for him not to lie to her. She says that is Kasthuri and no one to her and refuses to listen to her father. Kasthuri hears this and starts crying. Later, Thiru reflects on his conversation with Kasthuri - where she tells him she will leave and be away from Kavya. Kasthuri saying it is best seeing Kavya is a heart patient and all. Thiru goes to the closet and takes out an album, looks at his wife's photo and cries. He cries saying she had left him and now he has been given the gift of looking at her face but looks like that too will be take away. Kavya comes to the room and hears this. THODARUM.

Kavya sees his dad crying and calls out to him. Thiru puts away the photo and calls her to him and hug him. Kavya asks if heis crying. Thiru tells her he is not and hugs her saying she is all he needs. He ten tells her to sit downwhile he goes and washes up. He goe sinto the bathroom and Kavya takes the album and looks at her mother's pictures and thinks. Santhya in her mottai maadi and reflects on some negative images about a girl name Sofia.

Looks like Radha and Amirtha have returned from Mumbai. Radha laments that they could not find Rekha and worries for her safety. Amirtha tells her to be patient. Radha tells there is a josiar who sees Olai Chuvidi and tell the future of a person and wants Amirtha to go with her to see him. Amirtha agrees to follow. Sindha asks Mangai why Bharath has not returned with Jayanthi. She also tells Mangai to tell Jayanthi about the proposal and ask if it is ok. Mangai agrees. Bharath and Jayanthi walk in and Mangai asks if Jayanthi has found a job. Bharath tells her that she will get a good job in a weeks time. Sindha asks her to stay home until she gets a job and go back to the hostel. Jayanti says cannot because she would not be able toattend interviews an tells her she will goback in two days. Sindha asks them to go wash up and after they leave, reminds Mangai to talk to Jayanthi.

Mangai tells Jayanthi about the proposal and asks for her opinion. Jayanthi gets angry and tells her sister she does not want to get married now. She says she left for chennai because they were forcing her to get married. She also tells Mangai she will not come back to see them if they pester her. Bharath hearing this comes out and tells Jayanthi her mother is trying to get her married and have a life of her own. Hen then tells Mangai that Jayanthi may be wanting to work for a while and support her mother before getting married. Mangai tells her sister not to get angry and goes inside. Jayanthi thanks her BIL for helping her. Bharath says he is doing this not for her but for her mother and Mangai who trust her so much. Jayanthi sits down crying.

Kavya is sleeping and Thiru sitting on the bed and talking to Simi's picture. He says that so many things have happened since her death and how her face was transplanted to Kasthuri. He continues saying Kasthuri is also like Simi - has a good heart and loves Kavya so much. Kavya too loved Kasthuri but someone had poisoned her mind and now she hates Kasthuri. He cries saying he thought if something we to happen to him he had Kasthuri to take care of Kavya but now that hopes have been dashed, Unknown to him Kavya is listening to him. THODARUM.

Sorry for the late update.

Kavya gets up after Thiru leaves and looks at her mother's photo. Kasthuri comes there and sits by Kavya and tells her how much she loves the girl and had never intended to lie to her. Kasthuri tells Kavya she too had lost her mother at a young age and never experienced mother's love. Kasthuri cries and asks permission tolie on Kavya's lap before she leaves them. Kavya lets Kasthuri lie down and even wipes Kasthuri's tears.

(I had forgotten to tell you all that Radha and Amirtha went to see the josiar and after reading the olai chuvudi, told Radha Rekha is not alive.) Radha comes back with Amirtha and cries saying she is so afraid that it would be true. Amirtha tries to pacify her.

Santhya thinks about the past and Sofia...............flashback.

Santhia, aunty(can't remember name) and Sofia go to Church but Sofia refuses to enter. Both aunt and Santhya go insidi pray and come out. Santhya says Sofia will one day go in to pray but Sofia says that will not happen and she will only do what she wants and nothing else.

I college, Sofia is introduced to Thiru and a couple of his friends. In class Sofia sits next to Thiru and keeps looking at him as she is attractedto him. Thiru tells Sofia that the seat is Simi's and if she could go sit somewhere else. Sofia does not say anything but vacates the seat and goes to another seat.

Simi arrives and professor asks if she has completed her project. Simi says and seats next to Thiru. Thir looks at her project and says good and both listen to the lecture happily. Sofia looks at both of them with envy and anger. THODARUM.

Thiru sees Kasthuri packing her bag to leave and tells her not to. He asks her to give Kavya some more time to understand and accept her. Kasthuri tells Thiru that Kavya's happiness is most important and if by her leaving, then so be it. In the meantime, Kavya goes into the prayer room to pray. She tells God that Kasthuri too does not have a mother just like her. She asks God to stop Kasthuri from leaving. Kasthuri and Thiru come down. At the same time, while Kavya ia praying, her skirt catches fire and she screams. Kasthri, Thiru, Masil and Jothi fun to her. Kasthuri sees the fire and quickly pulls off Kavya's skirt. Kavya cries and everyone gathers around her. Jothi sees Kasthuri's hands hurt and wants to get treatment and thiru wants to take her to the hospital but Kasthuri assures them she is fine.

Radha at home - still crying and Santhosh goes to her asking for mommy. Radha tells her grandson, mommy has gone to Mumbai and will be back soon. Kasthuri meets Amirtha at a restaurant and tells her about Balu's escape. They discuss about getting Radha from her house. Amitha suggests to take her to Kasthuri's house but Kasthuri says no. She says this will hinder police action agains Ram. Mangai's neighbor bring a plate of ripe papaya and gives her. Mangai happily accepts and starts to take a piece. Sindha comes there and stops her saying it is not advisable to eat papaya when pregnant as this will lead to miscarriage. Jayanthi listens to this and thinks.

Sanjeevi comes home with a package and tells Amirtha he just got his salary andhas bought a saree for Amirtha. He thanks her for helping him and he had got her the saree as gratitude. Amirtha refuses at first but has to accept because Sanjeevi insists. Sanjeevi has the evil smil onhis face. Masil is reading his papers and Jothi serves him food. Kavya goes to him and asks him if he can help her. Masil asks wht it si and Kavya asks him to tell her mommy not to leave the house. She wnats her mommy to live with her forever. Thiru and Kasthuri hear this and everyoneis very happy. Kasthuri runs to Kavya and hugs her. THODAUM.

Masil, Jothi, Amirtha and Kasthuri at the temple discussing with josiar for an auspicious day for Thiru-Kasthuri wedding. Josiar says 18th of the month (which month and year?) is a good day. Masil asks Kasthuri and she informs him she will agree to his decision. Masil then agrees to the date. Everyone is happy and goes to pray. Santhia who walks by with her constables see this and has anger on her face.

Kala and another friend arrive at the hostel and Kala goes in and asks the receptionist to call Jayanthi. Receptionist tells Kala, Jayanthi has gone out with her husband. Kala is shocked and says Jayanthi is not married but the receptionist tells Kala that the guy signed as husband on the papers. Kala thinks and walks away. Jayanthi and Bharath walk to a coffee shop and he oders coffee for them. Jayanthi tells Bharath Kala wants her to join her company but is afraid. Bharath tells her not to as she will definitely find another job. Bharath sees Rekha advertised as missing in the papers and is shocked. The takes Jayanthi back to the hostel and tells her to be careful and that he will come and see her next week. he gives her some money and leaves. Kala is watching this from upstairs. Kala goes down and asks Jayanthi to follow her as she has something important to ask her and takes her into their room.

Amirtha wears the saree given by Sanjeevi and asks him how it looks. Sanjeevi tells her it is beautiful. Amirtha asks him to stay while she goes to pay the rent. While she is away, Sanjeevi thinks since Amirtha wore the saree given by him, she would definitely be ready to marry him and wants to ask her at an appropriate time. He feels his life is getting better. He plans to marry Amirtha, enjoy life for a while then escape. Amirtha comes back and tells Sanjeevi not to call her 'Madam' but by her given name. He refuses at first but on her insistence he agrees.

Bharath calls Kasthuri and asks about Rekha. Kasthuri asks where is is now and he tells her in Adiyar. Kasthuri goes there to meet and tells him everything about Ram and Rekha. Bharath then asks if she and Thiru are married. Kasthuri tells him soon and asks why Bharath is still not married. Bharath tells her is is married. Kasthuri looks at him with shock, I think!. THODARUM.

Bharath tells Kasthuri the story of his wedding. Kasthuri asks Bharath to go home with her and meet the others. Bharath refuses saying he will bring his wife for Kasthuri's wedding. Kasthuri then takes him to the station.

Kala asks Jayanthi when she got married and if her family knows. She asks how can she do such drogam to her sister, Kala says Mangai is her good friend and does not want to see her life ruined. Kala asks if Jayanthi had really married Bharath. Jayanthi tells her that is not so and cooks up some story saying her BIL had found her a job in a company and they would only employ married woman and Bharath had signed as husband. Kala says that is all fine but why sign as husband in the hostel admission form. Jayanthi says that since the form too had the same question, Bharath had signed it. Kala is relieved and Jayanthi asks her not to tell Mangai as it will trouble her sister. Kala agrees and leaves.

Bharath is in deep thinking and Mangai asks what is wrong with him. She says Bharat looks troubled since he returned from Chennai and wants to know if everything os okay with Jayanthi. Bharath tells her about Rekha's disappearance. She too is shocked. Jayanthi calls Bharat on his cell and tells him about Kala finding out about them. Bharath tells her he will talk when he goes to Chennai next and hangs up. Mangai asks who he is talking to and Bharath lies, it is Kasthuri. He tells Mangai Kasthuri wants him to bring her to Kasthuri's house soon. Mangai is excited and asks to go.

Inspector Sandhya waits outside for Ram. When he arrives she tells him she knows about his involvement in Annamalai's death and she has all evidence to send him to the gallows. Ram is shocked. Sandhya asks about Rekha and Ram keeps saying he does not know where she is now. Sandya says she knows what happened to Rma and wants him to tell her the truth. She then tells Ram that she is a policewoman and knows how to help the accused and also how to get the innocent into trouble. Ram looks at her. (I don't know exactly how this segment ended because the computer upload ended here. Would appreciate if someone can help me out to finish this.).

Kasthuri meets Ram and tells him she wants to talk to him. Ram laughs at her and teases her about her impending wedding. Kasthuri tells him off and says she knows he killed Rekha. Ram says he did it in self defence as Rekha wanted to kill him. Kasthuri tells Ram to surrender to the police but Ram laughs at her. Kasthuri warns him and leaves.

Kasthuri goes to Inspector Sandhya and asks why she has not apprehended Ram yet. Sandhya tells her they are still investigating and it takes time. Kasthuri says she has all the evidence needed and feels Sandya has not taken proper actions. Sandhya asks if Kasthuri is the Commissioner to order her. Kasthuri tells her it is not so and says something need to be done immediately. Sandhya tells her she will take care of it.

Kasthuri tells Thiru about her meeting with Ram and Sandhya. Kasthuri says Sandhya's attitide is now very different and feels she is not wanting to do anything about Rekha's case. Thiru tells Kasthuri that Sandhya is a dedicated officer who has solved many cases and has earned a good name in the department. He says there must be something else and bribery is out of the question. Thiru then suggests they go to the court and file for hebeaus corpus as this will force the police to find Rekha immediately and take proper action. Kashturi agrees.

Next day, Kasthuri meets with Police Commissioner and tells him about Rekha's case and how she collected evidence and passed to Sandhya. Due to Sandya's lack of action, Soma's man Balu escaped and now Ram is also not apprehended. Kasthuri asks that he takes imemdiate action. PC calls for Sandhya and when she comes asks her what is happening. Sandhya says Rekha's disappearance was reported only recently and Kasthuri is also to be blamed in the culprit's getaway. She tells PC she is doing everything she can on the case. PC tells her not to blame other because they trust the police and come to them. He tells Sandhya he does not want to hear any more complaints on her or else he will have to take severe action. Sandhya glares at Kasthuri. THODARUM.

Sandhya tells the PC that she will take immediate action on Rekha's case and leaves. Soma tells his manager Balu to leave town and gives him some money. He tells him not to come back until he calls. Balu takes the money and leves.

Ram meets Soma and tells him he is afraid because Kasthuri has gone to the Commissioner with Rekha's case. Soma tells Ram not to worry but Ram says Inspector Sandhya is very strict and would definitely work deligently. Soma says he will take care of it. Soma also says that Sandhya is one of his and soon everyone will know who she is.

Mangai is all packed to go to Chennai. Ther e are a number of bags packed and Bharath is surprised and ask why so many packages. Both Sindha and Mangai tell him, he will find out when the arrive in Chennai. Bharath is confused and worried.

Sandhya gets ready to go to work. Goes to the altar, prays and sits down to put on he shoes. Soma enters and Sandya just looks at him and there is some flashback with her and another lady and a baby in a hospital. Soma asks why she is not inviting him in as he has come to see her. Sandhya just stares and Soma says he would have come sooner but he was busy. Sandhya asks if he is surprised to see her in this status. Soma says he is very happy and proud of her because she is his blood. THODARUM.
