J.K.Rowling has truely opened our eyes with the world of magic and mystery. The boy wizard aka Harry Potter hs become people's mascot and everyone, in one way or another, desires to become like the mother Rowling herself.
Pearl S. Buck has done wonders with her book "The Good Earth".
And if we not mention the sleuth-master Sherlock Holmes, we are good for nothing. Sir Arthur Conan Doyle had originally killed Sherlock Holmes. But after facing a lot of criticism from the fans and the media regarding this unconventional decision, he reincarnated Sherlock Holmes after ten years! What a magic miracle!
Emily Bronte's Wuthering Heights, Charlotte Bronte's Jane Eyre, Jane Austen's Pride and Prejudice.......everything.
But my favourite author will continue to be the woman who has written a maximum number of 700 books..........Enid Blyton........because that is where my foundation as a reader is nailed.
