PART-1:

"Oh God kahaan hai woh????kyu abhi tak nahi aaya?…..show bas shuru hone wala hai"nupur was mumbling to herself.She was standing in front of a mirror.Dressed in glamourous clothes & face filled with make-up she was looking exclusively beautiful.Her hair were folded upwards to give a very different hair style.She looked stunning in her attire.There were models around her in the room who looked good but none could compete the natural beauty of nupur bhushan.She always looked different in anything she wore.But her face was filled with tension.She was too anxious.No,the tension was not regarding her show.Being a super model she was too used to this.She could walk on ramp even in the middle of night with full confidence.She was tensed because her lucky charm hadn't yet turned up.Yes her lucky charm the one only,her boyfriend,mayank sharma.She believes since the day mayank has entered her life her life has changed.They are together since childhood.Nupur had never been a good student which always disturbed her dad.She was weak in studies.Try as much she did she could never study like other brilliant students.In class too she was treated as a dirt.With not much good looks & not being scholar she never got respect.But a day came when mayank lost his parents,his only family & was taken in by nupur's father.Their father had been close friends since a long time.As soon as mayank entered her house her world changed.She got a friend whom she could call her own.He was her best friend.Initially he was too depressed on losing his parents.But nupur being bubbly & chirpy girl bought him out of the depression.Though they were small(around 10 years) they could understand each others problem very nicely.That was the start of their friendship which got only stronger by each passing day.For nupur,mayank left his own school & took admission in nupurs school.He made her study alongwith her.He showed the brilliant side of her to the world.Ofcourse nupur never outbeated mayank in studies & would always come 2^nd (purposely) in school but she was too happy & satisfied with that.Her father was proud of her daughter & owed it to mayank.However there was one thing where nupur outbeated mayank & that was dance.Mayank could never dance.Nupur always teased him & he decided to show nupur that he can dance.Nupur was too glad to hear that.She became his teacher to teach him dance at age of 16 & for the first time they had started developing different feelings.Mayank always(purposely) remained 2^nd best to her in dance just like she did with studies.Both kept ignoring their feelings till age of 20 which kept growing with their maturing age.They didn't want to loose their friendship.But when they couldn't run away from it they blurted it unknowingly at the same time while arguing over a silly reason.They both laughed initially on their silliness but their love story begun from that point.Nupur's parents also came to know about this thanks to her brother.They had always wanted this & were too happy for nupur.However a problem came when nupur declared that she wanted to become a model.Her family had never expected this.They knew if they say no nupur wont argue & sit back at home for their happiness.But they also knew she would not remain happy.But being her parents they were not sure if the field is good.They had always heard the glamorous field is good only from outside but too bad from inside.When they discussed this problem with mayank,he at once gave up his MBA career.He could do anything for his love.He assured her parents that even he would go in the same field & protect her & always be with her.Then started their struggle for becoming models but owing to their great looks this wasn't much difficult.Soon they found success touching their feet.Both were famous & the most wanted couple.Their love life was also no secret.But nupur had always analysed one thing:Whenever she had been happy & made others happy it was only because of mayank.She knew his importance in her life.She started believing she is nothing without him & hence had tagged him as her 'lucky charm'.Mayank would always make fun of her for this as she was very serious about seeing his face before going in front of the world.His luck was all that she needed in her life.She could conquer the entire world with him being on her side & she knew he would never ever leave her side.

In todays show she was as usual the show stopper.She was worried as he hadn't turned up yet.She was sure she would mess up on stage if he didn't come to wish her luck.She was getting all hyper.

Women(someone from behind): C'mon nupur jaldi karo….sirf ek minute baaki hai...

N: haan please ruko…..woh aa raha hoga….woh bhool nahi sakta.

W: par humare paas waqt nahi hai…..main doosron ko le jaati hoon tum bhi jaldi aa jao…She started assembling other girls on the list.

N(to herself): Kaash woh jaldi aa jaaye……Oh no sirf 20 seconds baaki hai.

Loosing all hopes & hoping that she wouldn't mess up the show she started making her way out of the make up room.Just then someone grabbed her hand from behind & pulled her behind the curtains.Scared she closed her eyes but on feeling the touch she knew who it was.A smile formed on her lips which she tried suppressing."toh tum aa gaye?waqt milgaya apni shakal dikhane ka?mera show bas shuru hone wala hai.Tum jaante ho tumhaari shakal dekhe bina main kuch nahi karti par tumhe kya farak padhta hai.Tumhaare liye toh yeh sab sirf mazaak hai….."Her rambling was going on & on.He smiled looking at her anger behind which she was trying to hide her happiness on seeing him.He didn't hear what she said.He knew she didn't realize the show was about to start & people were searching for her.He kissed her forehead & whispered good luck.She was shocked at the sudden act but then smiled & whispered a thanks."Waise shayad tum bhool gayi ho yeh luck kis liye maine diya hai".She looked at him confused & then seeing the smirk on his face she remembered she had to go on stage."Oh no,mera show".She started running towards the stage.Only 5 seconds were left.4…3…..2….1….& BANG!!!!!!!!

She was on the stage with a big lovable smile.She started walking on the ramp having no worries in her heart.His lovable face would always be in front of her giving her confidence.She saw him running & then sitting on the chair.He probably ran from the backstage to reach here on time to see her.He winked & flew a flying kiss towards her which sent butterflies in her stomach.She looked in all directions & went back.Then she returned atlast as a show stopper.Her work was as usual loved by everyone.She was definitely one of the few models who was successful but showed no arrogance or attitude.She was glad with the wonderful comments she received.Altough she was very much used to such comments she always felt same amount of happiness when she got good comment.However the comment that mostly mattered to her was her family's & mayank's.Mayank himself being a successful model like her was also used to getting lovely comments but he hardly felt anything for those comments.For him only nupur's comment was important.

He went to meet nupur backstage again.Everyone had nearly left.Nupur was packing her stuff.He hold her waist from behind & rested his face on her shoulders.

M: tum aaj bahut sunder lag rahi thi…

But she didn't reply him.She was trying to show how angry she was with him but inside she had melted just at looking at him.

M: toh tum mujhse naraaz ho??par main to tabse yahaan aa gaya tha jab tum tayaar bhi nahi hui thi.

N(shouting): KYA???????toh phir tum pehle kyu nahi aaya mujhse milne?mujhe jaan bujhkar itna pareshaan kiya?tum jaante ho main kitni darr gayi thi??mujhe lagaa kahin tumhe kuch ho na gaya ho…par tumhe toh koi farak nahi padta….jaao main tumse baat nahi karti…

Saying this she freed herself from his hands & went to other side of room.He went to her & cupped her face in his hands.He was shocked to see tears in her eyes.He never knew this could stretch so much.One thing he couldn't bear was tears in her eyes.His heart ached & he blamed himself for being so stupid.He knew how sensitive she was regarding their relationship.He gently wiped her tears & hold his ears asking for forgiveness.

M: Please mujhe maaf kardo….i'm sorry…..main bas tumhe thoda tang karma chahta tha kyunki kal raat tumne mujhse theek se baat nahi ki….tumne mujhe kal raat good night bhi nahi kaha….par sach main tumhaara dil nahi dukhana chahta tha…main nahi jaanta that tum rone lago gi.

She looked at him & realized he was genuinely sorry.

N: Please aisa dubaara mat karna.Tum jaante nahi jab tum mujhse dur jaate ho toh main kitna darr jaati hu.Mujhe darr rehta hai tum mere paas waapas aaoge ki nahi.Aur kal raat maine tumse isliye baat nahi ki kyunki main bahut thak gayi thi aur khud nahi jaanti kab so gayi…Itni si baat ke liye tumne mujhe aaj itna darra diya.

She slapped his shoulder but later smiled & hugged him.

M: Tum itna darna band karo…main tumhe chod ke kahin nahi jaaoga.tum meri dhadkan ho.Kya main apni dhadkan ke bina jee paaoga?

He always made her heart feel lighter.His small-sweet talks would always remove fear from her heart.

N: Waada karo hum hamesha yuhi saath rahenge.Humaare pyaar ko kabhi kissi ki nazar na laage.

He held her hand & kissed her fingers.

M: waada kiya.

She took her bag when she found a envelope addressed to her on the table.She opened the envelope & read the contents.

M: kya hua???kiska letter hai?

N: invitation card hai….London mein ek fashion show orgainse hone wala hai….duniya bhar se models aur super models ko bulaaya hai…..likha hai wahaan par councelling bhi hogi aur tips di jaayegi.Bahut badaa show lagta hai.ek mahine ke liye hai.Par main nahi jaaogi…

N: tumse dur ek mahine ke liye???pagal ho kya???main itne din tumse dur nahi reh sakti….main nahi jaaogi…..humaare pyaar ke saath no compromise….

M: par yeh achaa chance hai…International level par apni pehchaan banaane ka……aur paise bhi ache milenge…..

N: I don't care….meri pehchaan sirf aur sirf tumse shuru hokar tum par khatam hoti….aur kitna bhi paisa mujhe tumse dur nahi kar sakta…

M: aur agar main bhi saath chaloo toh???

Her face brightened up hearing this.

N: tum???par kaise????

M: kyu madam aap bhool gayi hai ki main bhi ek supermodel hoon aur mujhe bhi yeh invitation mila hai.

N(excitedly): wow…..sachiii…..matlab hum yahaan bhi saath jaayenge…..(hugging him)….main bahut khush hoon….mera lucky charm mujhe kabhi nahi chodta hai…(pinching his nose).

He smiled at her childishness & both left for home excited about this new trip but little do they know this trip is going to change their lives.Their love will have to go a hard way to prove its strength.
