How long does it take to film a (Bollywood) movie?

This includes the filming itself, the production, etc.I heard HSM 3 took 41 days so I was wondering how long it takes to film a Bollywood movie.

dunno.......in 1 award show, Arjun said they took 5 years to make Rock On movie......

i think that it depends on the movie itself, and what the storyline is, and where it takes place, and so on.

These days most directors go from start to finish and release in 6 months, except Sanjay Leela Bhansali. It takes him a lot loooooonger to drop his bomb. 😉

in hollywood/british films depands on the pre-production to post production. it could takes years to 3 weeks to make the film and release it in that month. as for Sanjay Leela Bhansali he has gave something to bollywood a visual and art tactics that are never seen by an filmmakers vision.
