if one were to count the serials where women are showed to have illustrous intellectual careers, there are hardly any. Let me try

1) Astitva: doctor

2) Sanjeevani: doctor

3)Udaan: police

4)Shanti: journalist

5)Imtihaan: business women

I am thinking hard..........really hard...anymore....guys,can anyone add more

wat i can say is ektas serial will show gal gettg married 2 a highly influential n rich businessmen/prince/king out of no world....🤣 n in tat way thy inherit everythg from their hubby...so rags 2 riches tale....all hers serial show tis aspect!

There was one show years back on zee named "Choti Ma" there the lead was an ips and currently in one of the show that airs on real there the lead is shown as an IAS .ummm cannot recall more, but itj not related to bv. here all are shown as house wives, right for career is not playing any role at all:( hope with the time being we get to see about that too- the same way how teacherji in the beginning was shown😛

I agree, why is it that woman are portrayed as homemakers only..... Why cant we have some realistic shows as well. Almost all have glamour and getting married to rich guys.....

There's Namak Haraam on Real , which stars Narayani Shastri who's playing an IAS officer : )) And not just any IAS officer , a good , non corrupted one : ) And in the show , her career is not on the backfoot : )

Maybe if they put her serials they will be hits with the english strait away😉 just hope that they all dnt start thinking that we have random face changes and memory loss, and most of all the problems anyone can have in our houses😆
