But I sure hope the promoted one aka salman doesn't win cos I feel there are more deserving contestants out there who strive for this title so much more. Just my two cents. Lets not forget it is the Indian public who made him get the highest number of votes and majority of the Indian public does not come from his community.

relax. i wasn't saying that it's discrimination. because there are certainly a good number of people that vote for that sole reason. no offense to anyone. but i mean, i really doubt that the would FIX it that way.

the second thing i was saying is that, every once in a while, we end up being surprised by the favorite (not necessarily best) contestant being eliminated. and we all know that after some point, it's just a contest of the fans.

like the comment above, these are the kind of comments that annoy me. people shouting bias at everything. they're not biased against the girls. can you honestly say that rakhee was better than anyone who is still on? she wasn't eliminated because she was a girl, she was eliminated because she was the weakest. same goes for bhavna (or at least in the janta's eyes). it has nothing to do with gender. right now, the boys majority of the boys are better.

btw, saregamapa and indian idol had female winners. and svoi had a female runner up, so i guess that means that they're NOT biased. sorry to burst your bubble.

Gosh when did it become a HIndu Muslim issue....and I agree about QAZI winning fame gurukul....and mind you he was not the best of the lot!!!
Pl...this is a talent show and the most talented should win....otherwise public looses faith in the show....
Salman is not even in the top five...if he wins I will believe that Daal mei kuch kala hai...ho sakta hai poori daal hi kali hai

Huh?? Seriously??? like Debojit winning over contestants like Nihira and Vinit , even Hemchandra?? Or Aneek winning over Raja?

And Btw i am surprised to find so many people outraged at the idea of regional bias. Sorry to break the bubble Zee is pioneer in promoting communal voting to increase the votes. Remember contestants being announced as "Mumbai ki murgi", "lucknow ke shehjaade" and "assam ki shaan" and asking these areas specifically to vote for their contestants. That was the first time i heard contestants on a reality shows asking votes from specifically their area rather than entire India
