IF isnt a seperate entity... the people who are on IF are a represent a slice of the audience only. you dont study entire population for a survey , just a random distribution of it including people from all sections of society... people here come from all age groups, both sexes and a lot of different locations ..We arent endemic.

and if a huge part of this slice likes terence it wud be safa to say most people in audience do as well..

Check youtube comments on performances and you will see the same thing ..

I can understand one contestant getting ahead because of regional bias bt an entire relatively mediocre team getting highest votes and the team believed to be the best by majority getting lowest is kind of hard to digest

okay its true even i like terrence's team & many audience do vote for him , but maybe there is even more ppl voting for the others , don't judge on the foums & sites , or who have the most fans , its all about luck & fate , not neccasry that every great dancer gets the highest vote ! all the contestant are great its hard to choose one or even top 3 ! so leave it on god & vote for yr fav & see what the result comes ..

IF, but this sub-forum in particular, is hardly a good sample, if anything, it's extremely skewed. A good proportion of the members here are females, many of them are between 13-20 years of age. I hardly see any males posting here, neither have I seen many older people posting here. <br>

Just IF?? How about the same type of response on Orkut , Youtube, Sify????? Those are skewed too?
Or Are you somehow implying that people voting for Sunita , salman etc are 60 yr old who dont join such sites

And old people hardly watch these shows let alone vote for them.

and its a universally acknowledged truths and guys hardly vote in indian reality shows which explains why mostly guys top the list.

P.s. Do you guess people's ages from their posts?? because I know certain people on this forum who are in their late twenties/early thirties

^^^^ i agree...some of the people who vote may not even use a computer so how can someone judge the number of votes that contestants are getting based on their comments on an online forum/youtube

a lot of the people that post on youtube are also from outside of india (i'm not saying that people in India don't use youtube) so it doesn't mean that they vote just because they leave comments...people in India are probably voting a lot more because they have more access to voting than those outside of the country who can just vote online (and who knows how many times one can vote for a contestant online as there is probably a limit set)
i don't think its a good idea to make assumptions just based on how many people comment/leave their opinions on websites because it defintely does not mean that they are voting, they could just be voicing their opinion
