Rajeev Paul will be entering COLORS' show Mere Ghar Aayi Ek Nanhi Pari...

Rajeev Paul is back to television after a long hiatus with COLORS' Mere Ghar Aayi Ek Nanhi Pari, produced by DJ' Creations.

The actor who was seen with wife Delnaaz in the first season of Nach Baliye had been busy with theater, and was last seen on television in 2007 in Karam Apnaa Apnaa.

As the actor rightly puts it, "I have been working on myself in this break. I worked on my body, myself, also took to theater to get a better hold on my acting skills. I got into singing too, and now am busy campaigning for the coming polls".

The actor will be seen in a romantic avtar and plays the youngest son of the family. "I play the character of Madan Chawla, a young dude who is newly married. He loves his wife Mishty (Shweta Ghosh) a lot, and the couple is so romantic and full-of-life that they plan a honeymoon for themselves every month. It's just been three months into marriage for them, and they get back from their third honeymoon".

The female protagonist Chandni (Mugdha Chapekar) is the Bhatiji of Madan, and the entire family pampers her like anything.

The actor chose this show to be his comeback vehicle for many reasons. "First of all, COLORS is the #1 Channel today, and it is great to work with them. I always wanted to work with DJ's as they have come up with remarkable shows like Jassi, Left Right Left, Choti Bahu etc. Also, the title of the show reminds me of my sister, who was very much pampered by all of us".

Apart from acting which gives him bread and butter, the actor has aspirations of having a political career. "My father has served the nation as army personnel, and now I want to do something for my country. I have managed to get a ticket owing to my popularity as an actor, and because of people's faith in me. This has not been an overnight decision; I have been aspiring to get into politics for the past five years. If I get a chance to move ahead in this line, I will surely want to do many things for the betterment of my country and the people".

Moving back to the COLORS' show, the actor is slated to make his entry either tonight or tomorrow.

i don't think he was even there for even 3 months....actually Delnaaz (i luv u sweetu😉) was a pleasure... he was just like ok kinds....he tried hard to impersonate the "kantaben" effect...but in vain😛....
