Before the Salman fans start jumping on me, I am NOT anti-Salman...it's just that he is being over-promoted. I agree that he is a wonderful person and I really like that about him😊, but he doesn't have to be promoted like the perfect guy or whatever-it-is. Yes, he is a nice person, as shown in the limelight, but it's just that....why only him? It's not like the other contestants are devils!😕 They love their family too, and, in fact, Vrushali's parents came to the show as well. I didn't see any promotion of the sort there. Salamn IS a great guy, but he isn't the ONLY good person! And besides, this is supposed to be about dance ONLY and I, personally, found Salman a very good performer, but SPECTACULAR only few times. And even if majority feels I'm wrong, in any case, Zee should promote Salman's dance rather than character.

As for Terence ki Toli, I was really disappointed with the reaction to Jai's performance. The mentors and Mithun praised him a lot and everything, but with the ''Geeta ki imtihaan'' thing, his performance got totally buried under the others. Very frankly, I saw a lot more hardcore dance in his performance than Mayuresh-Prince, and even Khushboo went faster and Alisha, slower in their performance, in some places (yeah...that's so Terence!😆). Farah wasn't even present there during Jai's performance, and I think...I'm sorry if anyone thinks I'm being biased, but I honestly feel this way....that Jai should've been awarded Lux Sabse Khoobsurat Performance of the Day.

So....lemme ask, just in case I get lucky!😃....do any of you agree?

We have had this discussion over and over again so many times in this forum, and I was also officially declared as the so-called 'Terence fanatic' by some people here. Let's dissect some of the things so far. Why is Salman getting the limelight? It does leave the eerie feeling for viewers that him being the winner is already pre-decided. We dont know that yet. But what is Zee so worried about? What are they trying to prove here? Are they trying to convince themselves as impartial, targeting some communities to project that image? Well, I think so. Region wise and religion wise, Salman is the best candidate for Zee to prove them being impartial and open-hearted to everyone in the whole nation. They had acquired a lot of criticism and anger after the incident followed by the elimination of Amir from LC2 and of Zaheer from SRGMP C09. Then all reality shows have proved time and again that anyone from the South stand little chance to win despite the talent. Combined together, they got Salman to prove to their viewers that they are not biased with regions or religions! Period!!

Now coming to Vrushali's parents not getting any air time. I have commented on the same in other threads, but let me put it differently here, after giving some more thoughts to it. Perhaps, Salman's family was officially invited by Zee, and their expenses would have been paid by Zee - who knows. Otherise why were the camera crew following them to record their union with Salman as giving him a big surprise?? Vrushali's parents on the other hand, came on their own to watch their daughter's dance. If they were invited by Zee, I guarantee that they would have given some spotlight too. Same way, Bhavna and Khushboo's parents were among the audience on the day of Rakhi's elimination - they were ignored as well. Then Siddhesh's parents came once - and he mentioned that they are here. Oh I forgot, Siddhesh has given his love for mother to Geeta too who is in the limelight throughout the episode! So his real mother didnt have to get the spotlight!! It's BS, I know, and I intended it as sarcasm towards Zee.

Jai's parents also came once to watch him perform. Again, he mentioned that his parents are here. Once Mithun da officially invited Rakhi's relatives and they were brought on stage to surprise her. Mayuresh's father was in the audience once, and again Mayuresh had to mention that! Same went for Alisha once when her father came to watch her perform once. Noni's parents were there once, and she said they are there. Paulson's parents too, on his elimination day of the WC round. But since he started talking to them in Malayalam, they got some air time that day - the least Zee could do for him after throwing him out unfairly - with all respect, I accept he was injured and had to be disqualified, but they could have given him a direct entry in the WC round than going for votes. Oh wait, that will split the votes from the South - I forgot! Mangesh's mom was always invited by Zee, I am pretty sure about that. So she was put in the limelight for Zee to have some drama fun at the cost of their poverty!

So all in all, all but Mangesh's and Salman's parents came to the show on their own, paying from their pockets. The viewers shouldnt be fooled by all this - I know exactly how the marketing works and how the target audience are manipulated psychologically. Oh I forgot, Zee might have felt that all the other parents are not presentable enough - as someone had said in this forum!! Never heard a bigger BS than that in my life!!! LOL...
