Not just Shah Rukh, but his kids Aryan (11) and Suhana (8) too will be cheering for the Kolkata Knight Riders this year at the IPL in South Africa. Shah Rukh has got special written permission from Dhirubhai Ambani School for his kids to take five days of leave during the matches. The school usually frowns on vacations for anything other than health reasons or family emergencies. The school is holding special classes delaying the summer vacation, but the Khan kids are exempt.
A source reveals, "During the first season of the IPL, Aryan and Suhana accompanied their dad for most of the team's matches. They were seen cheering the KKR from the stands, holding banners and wearing the golden helmets as they rooted for papa's team. In fact, for their final match in Mumbai, Aryan took along 20 of his school friends in
the KKR bus to watch the match. Khan Jr. even got them to wear the team's t-shirts. This year, he requested to take them for a few matches even though the school will be in term. So Shah Rukh applied for permission and the school has given the kids five days of holiday as a special case."
Aryan is a huge cricket enthusiast and closely follows every match during IPL. "He doesn't just watch his team's matches but even the others. SRK also enjoys having him and Suhana around in the stands. In fact, when KKR team was losing a match last year, Suhana was seen crying. Both of them are the team's biggest cheerleaders," says the source.
