Hey everyone!
yes, I do feel that their performance was over hyped, their CONCEPT was good, but their dance was pretty average. They weren't smooth in the transitions, lost balance at so many places and their steps were NOT clear at all! Now, I do understand that their arm and foot was tied but still their performance could've been much better. It was far from perfect and they did NOT deserve the khubsoorat performance of the day award! Infact, Jai & Vrushali are the ones who deserved it. Mithunda just got emotional 👎🏼
Just watch this video (also posted earlier by someone in another thread) and compare it urself! the lifts and transitions are so smooth and clear in this one.

yaar for someone who has never attempted this dance and had never went a day without using their hands and feet, they did well justice to the dance. khushboo and salman have great chemistry and their performance was emotional and entertaining. i enjoyed it! and i loved jai-vrushali's dance tooo...they should have gave both of them the award in my opinon, but i think the concept had won this time.
nonetheless...both dances were amazing and respectful in their own ways!

Thanks Andy for posting the video.
According to Indian copycat concept: just change the sex of the dancers and then the dance becomes original. So one without arms becomes a boy and vice versa.

@ sid11
I agree with u on this that it's commendable by both Khushboo & Salman to attempt doing something unusual, but my point is did they really deserve all the hype and praise and the best performance of the day award when their performance lacked in so many places? Compared to them, jai & Vrushali were so smooth and clear in their steps, and had the best chemistry. Just what I feel.

I do give lots of credit to Salman mainly for having the strength to carry out and execute this choreography...it is very difficult to dance and do all the lifts or balance with one hand and leg...Khushboo and Salman executed it well...Yes in few places it was not smooth but they did better than expected...So do applaud to both K and S....But Salman more for his superb strength.....
He is very humble and nice natured guy....
Now Choreography was not original...It was inspired from Chinese handicape dancers clip which remo mentioned on the show...It was not worthy of best performance of the night but b/c of it was emotional (handicap) was chosen by grand master (emotional Manipulation)
Even Mangesh's dance was a choreography already danced on SUTUCD....I think Mia Michael's choreography if I am not mistaken...Something very similar....

lol, this video has been posted and this topic has been discussed already at another thread :http://www.india-forums.com/forum_posts.asp?TID=1160490
but what I want to point is that Salman & Khushboo did not deserve all the hype because their performance was quite average.

I didn't even knew the thread exists yet I was able to predict the typical response. Lifting directly from one of the posts in the thread (and also not giving credit either)
>> You can't call it cheated choreography coz in the video the guy doesn't have a leg and the girl doesn't have an arm while it's vice versa in Remo's act....Salman is the one with an arm and Khushboo without a leg....with so much difference the choreogrpahy can't be cheated...
Right sir, that was very intelligent.. Reminds me of the movie Miracle worker and the bollywood movie which would remain unnamed by me where the director changed the sex of the teacher, thus making the movie very original.
