The Indian congress can't even uphold the laws like the new Iraqis do. What if the shoe thrower had something like the london bomber had in an aircraft?
In the US, upon entering any federal building a strip search is done. Even on children. Time our nation upheld it's own laws.

Now with the growing trend of shoes being used as "missiles "the journalists will have to appear bare foot for any press conference 😉 😆
On a serious note, as far as upholding law is concerned ,our country is doing very badly indeed. The main reason is that the laws do not apply to every citizen equally. Those in power R the foremost in flaunting all rules !😲 How many of our politicians go through security cheks, they dont even like to display their I cards & God save the ignorant new security personnel who fails to recognise these high & mighty & dares to perform his duty of asking for their I card. He is sure to B transferred or suspended.

Well, I do not think that applies only for 'our' country or any specific region ... the whole world is like that. Seriously, the one who has got power will be saved, no matter how brutal a person he is ... and the one who hasn't got any power ... well even if he's a good one, he will be accused for every single thing ...
Hey, like it or not, the world was/is and will always be like that. That's the bitter truth. 😳
