"I love doing cameos," says Kishwar
Kishwar Merchant who was last seen playing a cameo in the comedy Main Kab Saas Banoongi (Sab TV) is all set for another cameo in Mile Jab Hum Tum (Star One). And though the actress loves doing short roles, it is just one of the reasons why she took up the show.
"I love doing cameos," says Kishwar, "I took up this show for two simple reasons. One is because of the cameo. I feel that through cameos you get to learn a lot in a short span of time; you also get to play different characters. The second reason was that this show is big and very popular; it isn't like the regular saas bahu serials."

Elaborating on her character, she tells us, "I am playing Tamanna, who is a drama teacher. My character resembles that of Sushmita Sen's in Main Hoon Na. She is this very pretty girl who has just completed her studies in college and this is her first job. The track of Shahrukh and Sushmita in the film will be what you'll see between Uday's and my character."
Kishwar is so impressed by Sushmita's character that she can't stop praising her. "She's too hot! She looks absolutely stunning in the movie! I have seen the movie thrice and I loved her. My character is very similar to her but yes, I know that she's much hotter than me!" she quips.
The actress says she can't relate to the girly character she is playing. She says, "Except for the blushing and the smiling which you'll see me doing on the show, there is nothing that I have in common with the character. I am very tomboyish in real life. I am more like a guy and I've got more guy friends than girls."
Kishwar made her entry on the show last night. Mile Jab Hum Tum airs every Monday to Friday at 9pm on Star One.
