If I were to act as a character in the play and if I was a boy.....then I'd love to play Severus Snape. I know it seems crazy but he is the key character apart from the Magical Three and Voldemort. He masters himself through tough situations and sacrifices his life for someone who has never trusted him. Maybe that's why I severely hate Harry Potter in the Deathly hallows.

Snape is a good character, and redeemed himself in my eyes in the 7th book (especially with memories and all that), but I didn't hate Harry because of it, because we have to think of this from Harry's POV too. Snape was always nasty to him and basically anyone who wasn't in Slytherin, and he made Potions Class a living nightmare for Harry, and for what? Because he wanted to get revenge on James for it. That sounds pretty childish to me.

I mean, lots of other characters also led unhappy lives in the series, like Remus Lupin. He was a werewolf and faced a lot of prejudice in the world. He almost never had a consistent job because of his lycanthropy and lived a lonely life for 12 years before he became Harry's DADA professor in the 3rd book. Yet, he was never bitter and treated all the students kindly and equally. That's the main problem I had with Snape. I agree that he suffered a lot, and even sympathize with him for it, but if I was Harry, I wouldn't trust him either. I mean, Harry never knew the things Snape did for him until he died. Can you blame him for not trusting him? And while Snape was alive, all he did was insult Harry, his friends, and his parents. Why would Harry trust someone like that?

And Harry was grateful to Snape after he found out what Snape did for him. Didn't he name one of his sons after him? That seems to be a pretty selfless thing to do, considering all the other names he could have given Al Potter.

I totally respect your opinion, so don't think I'm angry at you or anything😳. I'm just stating mine.
