I agree with you as well. Snape did suffer very very much, but to take that out on somebody completely innocent all those years did seem a bit childish...

i would like to play luna because we both have some similarities like i also like to think something different.But if Harry had any siblings i would like to play the character and support him.but harry doesnot have one so i cant play that.But i gues i cannot replace the current Luna because she is just perfaect for the role.Luna and Neville are one of my favourite characters in Harry Potter series.

I know! Many people think Luna would be the perfect spouse for Harry, but I don't agree. I think she's the sister he never had, you know? She's sweet, kind, supportive, and I believe that if Harry had a sister, she'd be exactly like Luna.😳😊

I know she will be the best sister Harry will have.she will never be his spouse because if someone is supporting you it doesnt mean you have to marry them.there can be brother-sister relationship also not only husband-wife relationship to support each other.And some of them think Neville and Luna could mary each other.Even i like both of them and its not such a bad couple.both of them are cute.But frienship is always frienship.i would like them as friends as they were really good friends to Harry and supported him in every ways.And i really liked the part where Harry is visiting Luna's house where he sees a painting showing Harry,Ron,Hermione,Ginny and Neville.this was really touching and showing the bond of their friendship.

Yeah, I don't get why people think that if a male and female are friends, they must marry each other. It doesn't make sense. Luna wouldn't have been happy with either Harry, Ron, or Neville as her spouse, because they did not have what she needed in a husband, which was someone who could understand her and were kind of like her, which was the reason she married Rolf Scamander. Well yeah, he was never mentioned in the books, but JKR said in an interview that Rolf was the magical equivalent of a naturalist and that's also the career Luna went into. A naturalist was a good career for Luna, because you could tell she would go into something like that, and Rolf had the same interests as her so they were a well matched couple. Harry and Ron were aurors, and they led a busy life. I don't think marriage with either of them would have lasted long. Since Neville was a Herbology Professor, maybe Luna would have been happy with him, but they were better as friends as well.

I like Luna and Hermione as Harry's sister-like figures. But they did not have the one thing that Harry needed most a wife, which was the ability to truly understand how it felt like to be possessed by Voldemort. Ginny was the only one who had been possessed by Voldemort so she understood the trauma Harry went through. Hermione was supportive, but she often nagged Harry when he was feeling anxious about Voldemort's memories and told him to practice Occlumency. Luna was sweet, nice, and understanding, but she still had never been possessed, so she wouldn't know.

"I didn't want anyone to talk to me," said Harry, who was feeling more and more nettled.
"Well, that was a bit stupid of you," said Ginny angrily, "seeing as you don't know anyone but me who's been possessed by You-Know-Who, and I can tell you how it feels."
Harry remained quite still as the impact of these words hit him. Then he wheeled around.
"I forgot," he said.
"Lucky you," said Ginny coolly.

its not only about that similarity.JKR said that Ginny had the quality to become Harry's wife.JKR said Harry neede someone tought and Ginny is like that because she was surrounded by 6 brothers.and she is the one who can truly understand and Ginny is the best for becoming harry's wife.even harry was suprised how wll she handled the situation when he left her for her safety.

Well...If I was a boy, then I would love to be Harry without a doubt. I absolutely adore Harry's character, inspite of being sketched out as a wizard, who belongs in the Magical World, His character seems real and someone you can identify with.

But Since I'm not ( LOL ) - I would love to be Hermione :)

Lalitha - I absolutely agree with you on whatever you said in Harry's defense. I think it is the flaws that make Harry's character so likable. I would never want to read about a character I can never identify with, but only fantasize about. You defenitely cannot blame Harry for not trusting Snape - He killed DD infront of his eyes for god's sake.

@ Lalitha , @ Neetz - totally agree with you on the defense for Harry and his magical abilities and the world he belongs set aside, Harry is one of the most believable characters to whom we can relate, every reaction is something we've felt at some point and you just know why and more importantly how it feels why he did the way he did about Snape!

And well about the question asked in the post - I would love to play Ginny , not because she was harry's GF , but for the simple reason, she was freaking good and played Quidditch and boy did she have a temper , someone who knew her mind and stood her ground and I guess I could relate to her.... abt growing with 6 brothers....but in ways you dont realize immediately, it does tuffen you up to face things and see things in life and accept them better!
