Hey guys! I maybe wrong but it seems as if we have no written updates after the 9th. Will try to update them all as fast as I can.😃

10th March

Lalaji smiles at the sight of his granddaughter and thanks God for fulfilling his wish as the rest of the family looks on.

Lalaji is shown celebrating and distributing sweets to the whole street in celebration of becoming a granddaughter.

Chawla House...

Neeru accidentally puts to much salt while cooking and afrustrated Shashi bhabhi sends her out.

Shop..

A new sign is set up that says 'Chawla & Sons & Daughter'. Lalaji gets emotional seeing this as everyone celebrates.

Chawla House...

Shashi bhabhi is cooking when Madan comes in and teases her that she has only made 20 dishes for her niece. Shashi tells him not to touch as first they will be presented in front of God and Madan replies that if she looks closely then she will see a God in her devar as well. Shashi pulls his ear and retorts that she sees only the devil in him. She takes a belan and chases him out of the kitchen, almost bumping in to Karan.

Shashi and Karan reminisce about when he was little and how he [Karan] would always question Lalaji about the partition and would say that he would never allow the partition to happen. And now he's in the army.

Baby's room...

Neeru tries to clean up as her sons run around her. Karan comes in and teases his nephews that now they have a little sister, they will ahve to clean up after her and giver her all their toys. Neeru scolds him for teaching them the wrong stuff and calls Karan who marches them out of the room.

Guneeta comes in with old clothes and informs Neeru about the tradition that for a few days the child has to wear old clothes as this passes on the blessing of elders.

Outside, Karan tells the kids and Madan that they have to clean the cradle in preparation for the baby and do a good job otherwise he'll cancel their lunch. Madan tells his nephews that this is what happens when a girl enters the house. Both brother looks at each other sullenly.

Kusum returns home with her daughter and Guneeta does the arthi and the family looks on. Kusum comes forward and hands over her daughter to Lalaji who becomes emotional. Lalaji remembers the time of the partition ' as a young man he was carrying his younger sister Chand when they were attacked. He falls and Chand is pulled away from him whilst someone hits him on the back of his bed. When he awakes, Chand can't be found.

Guneeta brings him back to the present as she tells him to forget the past. After 24 years the Lord has blessed them and given them back his sister. Lalaji remembers his sister ' the last girl of his family ' and how she was snatched from him. Guneeta consoles him even as he blames himself for not being able to protect her.

11th March

Lalaji says that he will not make the same mistake as last time and won't close his eyes until he places her in the doli.

Elsewhere...

Everyone is fussing around the baby as Lalaji comes and gives her some honey so that she will grow up to be like him. Manohar arrives and says that the pandiot is here to do the name ceremony. Everyone pulls out lists of names and Madan makes fun out of all of them. Lalaji says he has a name and calls her Chandni.

Later...

Kishan is working when Guneeta arrives and tells him that Lalaji would also sit here and work for hours. Kishan replies he is also trying to fulfil Lalaji's dream.

Room...

Kusum sings MGAENP as she tries to put Chandni to sleep. Kishan comes in and kisses Kusums hand before handing her a ring for giving him a daughter. Kusum smiles and becomes emotional as he places the ring on her hand. They both hug and watch their daughter.

Morning...

Guneeta teases Lalaji as she says that he is getting dressed as if he is going to wedding. He replies that for the first time he is going as a grandfather of a girl. He asks her for the keys to the safe as he will get them touched by Chandni. The boys run in and Sameer asks for some money for Churangoli and Lalaji tells him to get it from Giresh. Sameer looks sad.

Shop...

Manohar and Giresh talk about the responsibility of a girl in the family. Giresh says that he wants to put down a fixed deposit for Chandniand wants him [Manohar] to set this up. Manohar rings up and asks around to learn about fixed deposit as the boys come in asking for money. Manohar sends them off to play saying that he is setting up a fixed deposit for Chandni. Both boys feel sad.

Chawla House...

Lalaji comes in with the safe keys for Chandni to touch. He picks her up and talks to her as Chandni watches him. He shows her the first penny of his earnings and says that from now on it will no longer be needed as she has come and the house has been filled with wealth.

Kusum says that Chandni doesn't even know how lucky she is. Neeru and Shashi arrive and start fussing over Chandni. Lalaji laughs as he says that Chandni will be confused about who her mother is. Kusum replies that when she grows up she will realise that she has not one, but three mothers. Sameer watches sadly from the doorway.

12th March

Karan takes photos as the women fuss over Chandni. Shashi asks Karan when he's taking Neeru with her otherwise he'll go back and she'll sit down unhappily. Sumeer comes in asking for money for churangoli. Neeru says that she is doing Chandni's malish. Sameer gets jealous and says that Chandni is horrible and runs of. Neeru yells after him but Shashi tells her not to get angry.

Sameer goes to Prem and says that he didn't get the money as everyone is running after Chandni. Prem agrees and says that since Chandni has come everyone has stopped loving them. He tells Sameer that there is a box in Lalaji's room and they should hide her there so no-one will find her.

Kishan takes Karan to one side where he points out an area on the map of Delhi. He tells Karan that a new colony is being built in 3-4 years time and that's when they will build their first branch.

Sameer and Prem follow quietly after Shashi as she takes Chandni to her room. Madan stops them and asks what they are doing. Prem replies that he is getting money for charongoli. Madan realises they are up to something.

Manohar calls Shahshi away to look for some papers. Shashi leaves Chandni on the bed and Prem and Sameer use the opportunity to carry her away and shut her in the trunk. Chandni starts crying and they open the trunk again. Prem says they will put her to sleep again. Sameer goes to pat her but she grasps his finger and doesn't let go.

Outside...

Guneeta scolds Shashi but Karan tells her to calm down and someone must have picked her up. The whole family go to search the house and Kishan asks Madan to look for her. Madan replies he knows where she is and leads the family to Lalaji's room. Neeru and Shashi scold their kids. Lalaji comes in.

Later...

Lalaji tells Sameer and Prem that because she is little, they will have to look after her and look out for her as they are her elder brothers. Prem asks if he is also someone's older brother. Lalaji says that his sister went far away from him but he promises them their little sister will never leave them. Prem asks for forgiveness and the boys promise not to do it again. Lalaji hugs them and gives them both churangoli.

Chandni's room...

Both boys enter and sit next to Chandni's cradle.

Morning...

Lalaji is pacing the room as he waits for Chandni to awake. He asks Guneeta to go see but she refuses to go in to her son and daughter-in-laws room and tells him to wait. Lalaji wonders if she is ill as she is sleeping a lot. Guneeta tells him that she is fine but he should go to have a bath. He refuses saying that what if he goes and she wakes up.

Girish, Manohar, Shashi and Karan come in from jogging. A tired Manohar says that Karan forcefully pulled them out of bed to send them jogging. Guneeta sends them all of to shower.

13th March

Guneeta teaches Banwari how to make panjeera for Kusum. In Chandni's room, Prem and Sameer sit next to Chandni and watch her sleep. Kusum comes in and asks what they are doing. They reply that their teacher had told them that cats come to little children which is why they are protecting her. Kusum goes to get dressed and both boys return to watching Chandni.

Kishan and Madan come in from playing cricket and Madan says that nowadays to win you have to do a little cheating to get anywhere otherwise you end up like Chawla sweets with no branches. Madan says that when he grows up he will run Chawla noodle vans with Sameer and Prem. On Kishan's look he says that he will enrol Chandni as well.

Lalaji pulls Madan's ear and warns him not to get Chandni involved in to his business. Instead Channdi will sit with him in the shop. Lalaji goes to get Chandni and is told that today she will be going to the Gurdwara.

Kishan comes to say that the rickshaw is here. Lalaji is upset that Chandni is leaving. Neeru notices and asks if it's necessary to take Chandni along and Lalaji agrees but Guneeta says that Sameer and Prem were also taken everywhere. Kusum notices Lalaji's sad look and hands over Chandni. A happy Lalaji takes Chandni to his room and promises to look after her.

Gurdwara...

Kishan and Kusum are praying and Kusum asks for the Lord to always take care of her daughter and family. Kishan worries about Chandni but Kusum assures him that everything will be fine as the family will look after her.

Chawla House...

Chandni starts crying and Lalaji can't make her stop. The whole family arrives and try to quiet her but she continues to cry.

Shop...

Banwari tells Giresh that Chandni is crying and won't stop. Giresh becomes worried and sends Banwari back to check on her again.

House...

The family continue to fuss over Chandni. Madan says that girls are always weepy and she wouldn't cry if she was a boy. Lalaji slaps him and tells him to stay quiet. He becomes emotional and hugs Chandni asking her to stop crying as he can't see her tears. Kusum and Kishan return home and Chandni quietens as soon as Kusum takes over. She tells the family not to worry as Chandni was just hungry.

Later...

Madan eats ice-cream with Sameer and Prem and says that because of Chandni crying they managed to get ice-cream. Prem says that in that case they will have to make her cry often. Sameer refuses saying that he doesn't like to see Chandni cry.

Lalaji's room...

Guneeta tries to explain to Lalaji that no matter how much they shower love on her, Chandni will always need her mother. But that doesn't mean that he is not also important in her life.
