Naseerudin: Vinod Chopra Still .. make a good film

We saw a hilarious interview of Naseeruddin Shah (with wife Ratna Pathak Shah) on NDTV.

The actor was talking about how many directors' first films were their best. He mentioned Shyam Benegal, Govind Nihalani and Vidhu Vinod Chopra.

And then a moment later he struck out the last name saying, "No, not Vinod. He still has to make a good film."

His wife piped in with, "Wasn't Vinod's first Saza-E-Maut?" and Shah laughed, "I think so, and that will also be a title of his autobiography."

Last time SRK said something rude about Vidhu Vinod Chopra at an award function, the director dashed off an angry letter to the actor.

Something tells us the mailman will be stopping by Naseer's home very soon.

I think everyone in the industry knows about VVC that most of his films are made by his assistant directors. Like 1942-Love story which was made by Sanjay Leela Bhansali and VVC took entire credit.

Naseeruddin Shah has a great sense of humour and he is very eloquent too...last night he was talking about Firaaq on NDTV and when asked what did he find most challenging about the role he said it was playing an old man since he was so young😆

he gives some great bytes....as they say its only the children and the older ppl who are really honest...children coz they do not know and older ppl coz they dont care....😛...the rest are stuck in between with I am king, I am ace, I respect him,I love his work etc. etc...😉

Are your sure Ashu about the oldies being honest and not caring anymore. Ahem..there is someone who blogs away cribbing about everything on Earth. Not all oldies! 😉
