CELL PHONE vs. GITA

I wonder what would happen if we treated our Gita like we treat our cellphone?

What if we carried it around in our purses or pockets?

What if we flipped through it several time a day?

What if we turned back to go get it if we forgot it?

What if we used it to receive messages from the text?

What if we treated it like we couldn't live without it?

What if we gave it to Kids as gifts?

What if we used it when we traveled?

What if we used it in case of emergency?

This is something to make you go....hmm...where is my Gita?

Oh, and one more thing. Unlike our cell phone, we don't have to worry about our Gita being disconnected because Krishna already paid the bill.

Makes you stop and think 'where are my priorities?

And no dropped calls!

I do not know alot about the geeta only bits being sikh i do know about hindu religion stupid as it sounds is through tv and movies.

I am happy to know so many of you have appreciated my post. We live in crazy world & everyone should try to be a good human being. It really doesn't matter what religion you follow or not.

nice post........you are right.....the teachings of The Gita can be imbibed by all irrespective of their religion, caste or creed.

actually relating this to entertainment, some people seem to give bollywood actors more importance then their own religion haha,

anyways im sikh so i wouldnt know much about the gita,

I do not think anyones giving actors more inportance than relgiion simply how we learn about other relgions and consider that these are hindi films etc for people living abroad where its not exactly taught or anything that would be a way for someone who knows nothing about relgiion to learn about it nothing to do with actors.
