After scaring the public with her saas–bahu fights, Ekta Kapoor has now found another way to keep the audiences gripped.
After Mano Ya Na Mano, which changed the face of television-watching in India, Balaji Telefilms is now dabbling in scare-fare. Its new horror show is called Koi Aane Ko Hai, and will be aired thrice a week on Colors.
Besides its renewed interest in the horror genre, the show also marks the beginning of Balaji-Colors alliance. It's the first time Ekta is working with the channel. While horror shows are dime a dozen on TV, what sets this one apart is that it is based on real-life horror tales.
The show will run through 26 episodes. Sandip Sikand, the creative director of Balaji Telefilms, confirms, "Yes, we are doing such a show and it is titled Koi Aane Ko Hai." Even as the format is being worked out and other details are being fine-tuned, Ekta is busy winding up her saas-bahu tearjerkers.
