About Heer...But with P/G, it is something different...Like you even I can't point my finger on it...But the way she was grinding her teeth and all...threatening to punch him saying 'HOW DAAARE YOU'(after knowing he came drunk.)somehow it didn't quite appeal to me...I didn't find Heer there at all...I simply don't know who she was...I somehow feel its the failure of the actress to portray the frustration, anger and helplesness(all of which is justified more than 733737% after what she had been put through thus far) staying within the character....Did you see how HC portrayed his anger when he said 'basssss'???

really? i thought she did a very good job. i have always thought that ag's voice is not as fluid as hc's. and that she has to be more careful with using it. but i thought she was totally spot on with the fierceness or the heat of the anger. and part of it is that (imho) she is seriously confused 'bout exactly what the guy is all 'bout! i worked this out in my head as i was writing the bt,lt for the wed-thurs episode. i think some of the loudness and fierceness of heer's anger is 'cause she's desperately angry at herself. for having believed it was prem earlier - when now she is not sure. and now? angry at herself for still doubting that it is not prem.

me? i think that part of the anger, the shrillness is actually 'cause down-down she cannot believe it's not prem. and she either thinks that he is doing this deliberately for some reason that he is keeping from her. and she thinks that she can provoke him into revealing his hand.

and as i said: there has always been a difference between her anger with anyone else in the world and prem. she is easy to anger with prem - always has been. now circumstances are even more strained. and her very conviction in her prem is shaken. every moment that the guy is in front of her.

i find can't fault heer her shrillness of anger, i'm afraid.

And about their little exchange about their 'dards'..on y'day's episode....I loved it...We don't know what he went through right??And certainly with what Heer went through, her 'humanity' still seems intact...she still feels for the world *or may be not, the way she was behaving these days*..Oh..can you tell I am terribly dissappointed by Heer these days....😔....

hmmm. is funny then. 'cause i'm more tested and tried by prem/anti-prem's behaviour these days than anything heer has ever done. heer - at the end of the day - is the epitome of prem-heer-are-one. she is that for everyone - me, and the people in the juneja family too. whereas - one way or the other; as prem or the guy who we know so little about - prem is causing me much disappointment and grief. maybe, the disappointment in heer is 'cause upto now - unlike with prem who has already done so many flawed things, even as prem - heer never has. heer has always been consistent? i dunno. heer (more than prem) has been - and continues - to be consistent to me. *confused muh*

About Kiran, I think the guy is hand in glove with RR...And I don't think we have seen the last of RR, not just as yet...Ram (in this case Ram+Sita) has to do the job of squashing him into non-existence...you see??😉 that's why a sudden change in the story line and bringing Kiran into the dynamics(IMHO)...You see the link???

oooh! smits (sshekar) and i have constantly been tossing the kiran-ball as a suspicious character! i thought he was key-fishy from the time that he asked lj 'bout not finding prem's returning suspicious. but i think smits has been suspicious of him since... the days that he brought sanjana's ashes urn back??

i totally agree with you -- he's fishy. and someone - shabz? - once pointed out that the original story line with kuldi's husband had him having an affair with sanjana. or something. (which could also be why they worked in that exasperated line of his yesterday to kuldi ''kabhi tho pyar sey baath karo, kulraj!'' - no?

Me thinks, RR knows that this guy was Prem and hence he is using him to destroy his own family...And after he is done doing that, he will reveal his real identity to him, leaving him to hate his own existence for the rest of his life....(of course his realization that he IS Prem...lol...will spice up the game now...if only the creatives can also think this way...😆)

y'know one thing i would soooo love to get a confirmation on? whether the unholy deal (between the guy and ratty) included the guy stepping up and sindooring heer to marry her? i always thought that ratpal meant to marry heer. and even if he'd made the unholy deal with the guy, it would have been more killing on heer if ratty had married her and then! the guy started doing this drama of being prem for the juneja's, no? heer would've wanted to kill herself, if prem landed up after she was married to ratty?

i soooo want to know this! and i'm afraid i'll never be able to find out -- 'cause this was not a logical flaw the creatives had considered... *biggest sigh in the whole world*

And another thing is, the show is right now really faring bad at the TRPs world....

really? i thought that this show has consistently got above the 2.5 trp levels. which is supposed to be quite good for a tv-show...

i didn't half appreciate the whole ''so much difficulty that you lose your humanity'' coming from the guy, for some reason... somehow the whole hip-hop character we had seen didn't seem to justify it. but then again, that lack of justification is probably 'cause i'm thinking he's actually prem and has had only a short memory as ''the guy''. on the other hand, if he has had a full life - from baby to now - as ''the guy'', it's atotally different matter. then, he could've indeed seen so much difficulty that he's lost his humanity...

but the really big shocking thing for me in that accident was ... he abandoned the accident site where the driver - a girl - is apparently hurt! and he does it with the deliberate intention of abandoning the site -- 'cause he thinks he's in the deep end. and escapes - the damned coward! - back to jzoo and heer. where he thinks he will be protected? from the person whose calls he refused to take?

for some reason that was the most shocking bit they've shown so far that this is not prem. forget all the fleeing to safety. if this was prem, would he ever have just driven off? without even checking whether the person is seriously hurt? would any half decent person have driven off?? damn everything to heck! who is this guy, damnit??? 😡

* little thing: gayatri-mom's getting antsy at not seeing prem. and heer is the one who is getting more and more stressed 'bout it.

when that ridiculous prem did that damned cctv recording, did he have any damned clue how seriously heer would take the instruction that she should live for his dreams?? i hate prem's cctv recording. i hate prem. and this time, i mean it. *er...not to give the idea that i didn't hate prem earlier, or anything... is just, right now, i really hate prem.*

she was spitting fire at him. and when she got a whiff of alcohol, omg! but there's something indefinably different about the anger she shows towards ''the guy'' and the anger she shows towards (say) ratty. and i can't yet put my finger on it... it's like 'cause the guy has prem's face, she's somehow... responsible for him or something. like she ... owns him or something! with ratty, she always looked like he was dirt beneath her feet. with the guy... it's like he is her's and he is bad and she has to deal with it, she can't throw him away. a bit of a touch of a step-mother with a nasty step-child? i dunno... is different, that anger...

* little thing: oooh, the guy enters jzoo through the back door entrance, yet again! 😆

* little thing: just as heer treats the guy like her own unpleasant thing, the guy ... allows her to! he never blows up at heer! have you noticed? it's like he admits that she owns him... even though he will never do a thing to please her. he never quite pushes her away!

''the guy'' is one big puzzle to me...

* little thing: er... so, a little bit of limbu paani and the guy says ''i am fine''?

*btw, nice act by hc in that one line: i always thought that drunks would speak very deliberately when they want to show they aren't drunk.*

* little thing: and in that one line, did anyone else think it was drenched in sarcasm?

sarcasm that heer doesn't really give a damn about him as him. but only as someone to perform a service that she is paying for? that he gets that feeling? but i'm glad there was no sense of self-pity in that acknowledgement...

* big thing: the next bits of dialogue were interesting.

first heer accuses the guy of getting ticked off at a ''choti si baath''. heer, that was not fair -- you who freaks out at any little insult/pain your family suffers - you are saying such a thing? that was not at all fair.

next the guy asks her what can she know of life sitting in her little world. her world may be narrow, but how can he be so certain of what she has experienced?? he doesn't know her life, no? 'bout having lost her parents. the torture treatment by dirtchachi. the suffering 'cause of prem's tears. his death. well, he knows 'bout prem's death. and he knows ratty's attempts to torture her. but that's it, no? why is he so preachy?

so i thought that heer was absolutely right 'bout having seen great harshness and hardship in life. some real tough times.

just as i liked his rejoiner about there being a larger world, with darker things - like terrorists attacks! - that she may not know 'bout. (which is also not true -- she lost her love in such an attack!)

but while i loved hc's voice speaking dramatic words again, i also started getting mad. why?

first of all, what he said. who is he to judge that heer hasn't gone through pain so deep that she can't feel the pain? or hardships so fierce that she loses her humanity? the ony way heer could be so mean 'bout the juneja's hardships while justifying why she is getting married to ratpal was to have buried her feelings so deep that she couldn't afford to allow it to show.

but i must say: it was interesting seeing both of them being so flawed in their judgement 'bout each other. if he has suffered great pain, why can't he feel sympathy for her too?

secondly, i hated that stoooopid audio effect they used to resonate hc's voice as he spoke - as if to magnify the impact of his words. i hate it when these editors try to over-dramatise what is already desperately dramatic. stop manipulating my head beyond the real words, you creeps! leave the gimmicks out of the story! it's fine without your stooooopid interference. [Grr]

thirdly, i hated the drama of his makeup. what was with the suddenly reddened eyes?

can you tell i'm really tired of the creative team using hc to manipulate my feelings and emotions?? he's a fantastic actor, with great delivery. when i see the gimmicks, i really want to knock someone on the upside of the head hard!

so in that segment, i both loved how heer-and-the-guy got to a core truth: heer with her pain, and the guy with his. and i loved how both of them made these assumptions about the other to come across as falliable human beings. i loved the mix-and-match of right and wrong that came across in what both of them said.

* little thing: best part of that segment? no matter how furious she is with him, she is kind heer enough to not bug him after that moment. she leaves him to his misery-that-he-can-no-longer-feel and doesn't bug him to come down to perform what she's paid him for. heer!

* little thing: i remember prem/heer saying (oh so very long ago) that the strangest and deepest relationships can be build as a ''dard ka rishtha''. are we going to that beginning again to find prem, so that prem-heer-are-one can be true again? this time, is it going to be heer who is going to ask ... prem ''tumhare ankhon mein itna dard kyun hai?''

* little thing: oooh, so the guy did come for the pooja. y'know what i want to know?

when he said ''i didn't come on my own, i came 'cause maa told me to.'' -- exactly which maa is he referring to? he calls gayatri-mom maa? wasn't she at the pooja?? or, was it the goddess-ma? or... is he getting instructions from his own maa, who might be .. er.. in the spirit world? which maa? i want to know. 😆

* little thing: did anyone else shriek with laughter when that somber voice recited a car license number from waaaay in the back of the room? loud enough for everyone to hear? without any introduction, hi, hello, nothing?? 🤣

i was shrieking with laughter, i tell you, shrieking! seriously, the scriptwriters brains have left on vacation, and have outsourced their job to a script-writing team in the usa. a us team that have only written for us-tv serials in the past. but are now seriously cheaper than indian tv-scriptwriters 'cause of the economic recession. ofcourse, they have no clue 'bout hindi tv-serials. and are churning out the script for this show, after having watched the last six months of kyunki-saas-bhi... episodes to prepare for their new job, poor sods...

this is the kiran - who when the guy broke into ratty-heer's wedding - was the only one to voice a suspicion about the guy to lj. like the guy asked in the end, exactly what is kiran's trip in life? what does he want in return? i want to know...

w&w to see how the story unfolds. but currently, 'm feeling very bleak 'bout the guy being prem. how could he have run away from the accident site?? *sigh* that's a big problem. truly. 'cause i just can't imagine how i can explain that in a prem... *very miserable muh*

need to seriously wtf this weekend... must think a lot before i post...

highlight of the show: the sight of the prem hand and arm coming up next to heer's hand while she was chunari-fying the idol. for all that my head's all dark 'bout his having fled the accident site, that sight was temporarily ...uplifting. *sigh* what a sucker i am for any ... chotti-si old-style prem-heer-are-one ehsaases... *big sigh*

for all those who still feel the sighs hidden in the depths of your hearts, here's an old vm that my pcp dug out for me. to cheer me up. 'cause she knows that it has one of my most favouritest old-prem-looking-at-heer moments at the start of the vm - the boss prem avatar that i love so much. i know i say this 'bout many prem-heer moments *hey! can i help that??? prem-heer-are-one rocks!* but this is one moment that doesn't show up too often in our discussions and phrool-sessions and phsigh-sessions. at least, not enough for me... ☺️

not particularly. but i just got this nasty sense that:
he felt he was imprisoned in a choice that wasn't really his
so he was out to needle heer to make her feel as bad if possible
and so when he got such a reaction, i can guess he would be happy 'bout it... oh dear. if he was truly smirking, then that is even more evidence that this can't be prem, no? *smits, is it time to get really unhappy?*

this is not the first soap i have watched with interest. i've watched ... three before. hmmm.

the one that i got hooked on to was actually a rather super non-balaji telefilms one! there was a super pair. with very charming chemistry. *sigh, no, nothing close to the epe/ephe fever type... * in a nice story... until the story tellers decided that they needed the story to go on for longer than they had originally planned for! then everything went to hell. it was such a sad demonstration of bad time-planning and absolutely no respect for the story! terrible!

i'd sworn off all hindi tv-serials after that *helped a lot that we'd shifted here from india* i remembered noting the start of this serial. i remember being totally dismissive 'bout the story they talked 'bout. i remember feeling allergic 'bout the setting - rural india? and ancient love? huh! i remember getting irritated at the music at the start of the segment. *channel surfing is an interesting way to gather information 'bout the show, no? incomplete but ... interesting. 😆* but then, one day, i heard prem's voice. passionate. miserable. asking his mother what he was to her. d'y'know, i was folding mom's clothes and couldn't see the visuals? just heard the voice. and decided to let the channel stay. out of curiosity 'bout that voice.

You won't believe it but i was not disappointed at all...yea i know i know me saying i was not disappointed sounds a bit weird doesn't it? 😆😆😆 But I wasn't as in our 'hope camp' i had already predicted this would happen! The guy would get drunk although not the accident part! It would have been much better if it was the guy who had gotten hurt ...a bang on his head and turned back into prem 😆😆

Who leaves car keys in the car? He saw the guy drunk and deliberately left the keys......and i am absolutely sure that accident was planned too!!! The guy's car actually never hit the girls......yes the guy's car was not in control that may have confused the girl but technically speaking the guy's car never hit the girls.....as explained by the "genius" police officer!!!

yea that hurt, it hurt more because deep down we all see a Prem in 'the guy' and Prem would never ever do such a thing!!! And I mean EVER!!! But as he said himself "uss key andar ka insan mar chuka hey" What else can we expect? You know after hearing those dialogues i am scared......scared because i am not sure if creatives would be able to come up with a reason big enough to justify those dialogues Some people have been saying that gyatri is going to turn negative and thats a reason big enough for Prem to feel dead!!! But that cctv recording is the only reason i feel Heer is still living...if it wasn't for that recording she would have killed herself i am sure, to be with her prem!!! And that CCTV recording proves Prem's trust in Heer, he did not give his responsibilities to anyone else but his heer, in whom he had complete faith and trust!!! He had no control over death but he wanted Heer to live, he knew she won't be able to without him so he had to give her a reason!!! Also i don't think Prem knew that his family is so dumb that everything would completely collapse after him and heer would have to go through all this, otherwise i am sure he would have been careful 😆😆😆

she was spitting fire at him. and when she got a whiff of alcohol, omg! but there's something indefinably different about the anger she shows towards ''the guy'' and the anger she shows towards (say) ratty. and i can't yet put my finger on it... it's like 'cause the guy has prem's face, she's somehow... responsible for him or something. like she ... owns him or something! with ratty, she always looked like he was dirt beneath her feet. with the guy... it's like he is her's and he is bad and she has to deal with it, she can't throw him away. a bit of a touch of a step-mother with a nasty step-child? i dunno... is different, that anger...

She almost got physical with him...did you see her fist? She almost punched him......and for some reason i don't like this heer but thats my opinion which ofcourse is not everyone's opinion 😆😆😆

''the guy'' is one big puzzle to me...

Yes he never blows up at her...he listens to everything she says...and does not react...the only time he reacted was when she spoke about family!!! And even than he never said a word against her not a single bad word! I don't know why but i think he did not accept "heer's business proposal" for money this time...he is doing it for some other reason or even if he is doing it for money there is another reason to it as well!!! And i am sure he feels heer's pain thats why he allows her to say all those things so that her pain come out and all of it does not stay inside her!!!

*btw, nice act by hc in that one line: i always thought that drunks would speak very deliberately when they want to show they aren't drunk.*

sarcasm that heer doesn't really give a damn about him as him. but only as someone to perform a service that she is paying for? that he gets that feeling? but i'm glad there was no sense of self-pity in that acknowledgement...

* big thing: the next bits of dialogue were interesting.

first heer accuses the guy of getting ticked off at a ''choti si baath''. heer, that was not fair -- you who freaks out at any little insult/pain your family suffers - you are saying such a thing? that was not at all fair.

yea that "choti si baat" wasn't fair on heer's part but i can ignore that because it brought out some really nice dialogues from 'the guy' 😆😆

next the guy asks her what can she know of life sitting in her little world. her world may be narrow, but how can he be so certain of what she has experienced?? he doesn't know her life, no? 'bout having lost her parents. the torture treatment by dirtchachi. the suffering 'cause of prem's tears. his death. well, he knows 'bout prem's death. and he knows ratty's attempts to torture her. but that's it, no? why is he so preachy?

so i thought that heer was absolutely right 'bout having seen great harshness and hardship in life. some real tough times.

just as i liked his rejoiner about there being a larger world, with darker things - like terrorists attacks! - that she may not know 'bout. (which is also not true -- she lost her love in such an attack!)

but while i loved hc's voice speaking dramatic words again, i also started getting mad. why?

I loved the guy's reaction...i loved his dialogues....i loved HC ....how he manages to say biggest things without loosing it for a sec!!! Totally in control....i loved the way he finally shut heer up without much effort really 😆😆😆

ummm yea heer has been through a lot....but i will go by his dialogues.....she has been through a lot but not enough "key uskey andar ka insan mar jae" the guy apparently has been through so much that the human inside him is dead and as i said earlier i am hoping that creatives, when they come out with a reason would be able to justify these dialogues.....i am so hoping for it against hope...i am not sure if i have confidence in creatives

first of all, what he said. who is he to judge that heer hasn't gone through pain so deep that she can't feel the pain? or hardships so fierce that she loses her humanity? the ony way heer could be so mean 'bout the juneja's hardships while justifying why she is getting married to ratpal was to have buried her feelings so deep that she couldn't afford to allow it to show.

but i must say: it was interesting seeing both of them being so flawed in their judgement 'bout each other. if he has suffered great pain, why can't he feel sympathy for her too?

Yea he is no one to judge...but that heer is no one to judge him either? So yes both of them are wrong in their judgement abt eachothers pain........and i think he feels sympathy for her thats why he lets her say whatever she wnts to and does not react!!! I mean he has taken money to act as Prem...not to listen to her bhashans but he does......i think he feels for her!!! and not from now but from the moment he saw her in Rajhistan!!! Ok don't ask me why i am saying this but sine Prem and heer are one thats what my assumption is based on!!! And i can't really judge him until i know his side of the story!

secondly, i hated that stoooopid audio effect they used to resonate hc's voice as he spoke - as if to magnify the impact of his words. i hate it when these editors try to over-dramatise what is already desperately dramatic. stop manipulating my head beyond the real words, you creeps! leave the gimmicks out of the story! it's fine without your stooooopid interference. [Grr]

yea that just distracts from HC's beautiful voice

thirdly, i hated the drama of his makeup. what was with the suddenly reddened eyes?

can you tell i'm really tired of the creative team using hc to manipulate my feelings and emotions?? he's a fantastic actor, with great delivery. when i see the gimmicks, i really want to knock someone on the upside of the head hard!

so in that segment, i both loved how heer-and-the-guy got to a core truth: heer with her pain, and the guy with his. and i loved how both of them made these assumptions about the other to come across as falliable human beings. i loved the mix-and-match of right and wrong that came across in what both of them said.

* little thing: best part of that segment? no matter how furious she is with him, she is kind heer enough to not bug him after that moment. she leaves him to his misery-that-he-can-no-longer-feel and doesn't bug him to come down to perform what she's paid him for. heer!

i dunno i didn't like how she made the face in the back ground before leaving the room when he was sitting on the bed that was so unlike heer for me but i guess she has her own problems to take care of so its ok

* little thing: i remember prem/heer saying (oh so very long ago) that the strangest and deepest relationships can be build as a ''dard ka rishtha''. are we going to that beginning again to find prem, so that prem-heer-are-one can be true again? this time, is it going to be heer who is going to ask ... prem ''tumhare ankhon mein itna dard kyun hai?''

oh thats exactly what i was thinking about the other day may be she would ask him that this time.....but would she like to use something "her Prem" said to her for 'the guy' whom she hates because he decieved her by acting as her Prem? 😕

when he said ''i didn't come on my own, i came 'cause maa told me to.'' -- exactly which maa is he referring to? he calls gayatri-mom maa? wasn't she at the pooja?? or, was it the goddess-ma? or... is he getting instructions from his own maa, who might be .. er.. in the spirit world? which maa? i want to know. 😆

* little thing: did anyone else shriek with laughter when that somber voice recited a car license number from waaaay in the back of the room? loud enough for everyone to hear? without any introduction, hi, hello, nothing?? 🤣

i was shrieking with laughter, i tell you, shrieking! seriously, the scriptwriters brains have left on vacation, and have outsourced their job to a script-writing team in the usa. a us team that have only written for us-tv serials in the past. but are now seriously cheaper than indian tv-scriptwriters 'cause of the economic recession. ofcourse, they have no clue 'bout hindi tv-serials. and are churning out the script for this show, after having watched the last six months of kyunki-saas-bhi... episodes to prepare for their new job, poor sods...

but the guy keeps looking at heer! doesn't care 'bout anyone else. just heer. why? why?? is it 'cause he thinks that she will tell them that it is him instead of kiran? was that why? i want to know!

highlight of the show: the sight of the prem hand and arm coming up next to heer's hand while she was chunari-fying the idol. for all that my head's all dark 'bout his having fled the accident site, that sight was temporarily ...uplifting. *sigh* what a sucker i am for any ... chotti-si old-style prem-heer-are-one ehsaases... *big sigh*

for all those who still feel the sighs hidden in the depths of your hearts, here's an old vm that my pcp dug out for me. to cheer me up. 'cause she knows that it has one of my most favouritest old-prem-looking-at-heer moments at the start of the vm - the boss prem avatar that i love so much. i know i say this 'bout many prem-heer moments *hey! can i help that??? prem-heer-are-one rocks!* but this is one moment that doesn't show up too often in our discussions and phrool-sessions and phsigh-sessions. at least, not enough for me... ☺️
