Hi All. You guys have totally lost it. Firstly the contest was for anyone including professionals who wd want to become more than just background dancers for films and stage shows. Secondly, a few of them have taken part in Boogie woogie. So whats the harm. The point is who remembers them from those shows. Its DID that is really making a star out of them as its the first reality show in dance where the focus is not a star but teh dancers and his talent. A few of the dancers that were freelancers and may have in teh past worked for teh mentors were also asked to participate, but guys they all had to go thru teh audition rounds like every one. To be honest i was one of teh contest and there were a few otheers too who have trained in Terence Lewis 's academy or Shiamak's but not all made it. Only the best were taken. So I can tell you in first hand that you are taking facts and misconstruing it. Its ok happens to many...The show though is enjoyable and fun. The dances are hatke and not the regular stuff.
See you guys here on this space.
i agree. winning this show will get the dancers more credibility and opportunity to prove themselves by being in the spotlight, more so than assisting any of the judges in the past. the judges probably didn't even give them much attention when they worked together, since i doubt they had the time to sit and watch the individual perform their best, which they are able to do on the show. but i think mayuresh is favoured a lot by terence since he was one of terence's students therefore had a direct connection with him and his aspirations. not that he's not good or anything, just saying.
i think rakhee, noni, and sunita are the only untrained dancers. and i think paulson learned it from friends as a hobby, so nothing professional. but they're all good. i don't know about mandakini either.
