Amrit doesn't behave fatherly towards Sawari

Even if the rest of the family does indirectly treat Sawari as an 'outsider' - one would expect that Amrit - especially with his saintly background should at least show an equal amount of fatherly love to both girls! But this does not happen! ... And this is to me, the biggest flaw with the script these days!!!

Yes, but even an ordinary parent has certain codes that they follow when it comes to their children. Is it that Amrit also considers Sawari to be an 'outsider'? It should not matter to him - as both Shweta and Sawari are neither his nor Saloni's biological children - so why favour one over the other?

When Amrit entered the family as Nahar, he did not know that Shweta was not Saloni's daughter by birth. All the earlier scenes always showed Amrit holding Shweta, bathing Shweta and playing primarily with Shweta. While Sawri was there he considered her savitri's daughter, although Saloni played with Sawri. sawri was Savitri's daughter. She slept in Savitri's room while shweta slept in NS room. So Shweta was Anrit's child. The night Saloni slept in Savitri's room, he took care of Shweta. Most of the scenes had him holding Shweta while most scenes had saloni with Sawri. He plays a fatherly role to Sawri but Shweta is his daughter. I agree with you he has more affection towards Shweta.

I find this the saddest thing of all because Sawri doesn't have a father and Nahar had look so much to having a daughter like his wife. The guy who took his places treats his daughter so distant.
