Viswa in the hospital with broken bones.- tells the doctor that he wants
to go home -"parole day doctor, give me some medicines and let me go"
But the doctor says that he just can not move - "You have to stay in bed.
Get well and then you can go on parole". Viswam has to agree. The doctor
comes out and meets the jailer. The jailer is briefed about the bed rest
verdict. The jailer asks his subordinate about the incident and is told that
the beating is due to some enmity - " munnadi sandai vanthuthu illiya??
athaan ippo adichom nnu solranga.." The jailer says that this incident
should not go to the ears of the superiors..
Danda comes home gloating. "yaaru? intha Dandapani yaaru?? antha
Viji yaiyum ava kudumbathai yum enna panrennu paaru.." Tams wants
to know the plan of action..."enna ppa, muzhusa sollunga" Danda throws
the file and asks the clan to look up "Viji Tiruvilaiyaadal puranam" - " I have

through the file and Nandhu asks "epdi maama?? intha report?" Danda
refuses to disclose the secret. Tams puts pressure "appa ...en kitte

Pechi to call Santhanam and co..... Pechi calls but Santhanam repeatedly
cuts the phone. Danda orders Pechi to go and bring them "apdiye ellaraiyum

Tilaga clan - cooking in full swing.....all are happy Kirtana and Loosu
are happy...Loosu of course does some mooking ...Megs comes in a red
sari ..Kirtana and Loosu do not like her dress and so take her in to change.
Well, athai comes - ah ha ha - kazhugu kku mookkil verkkum nnu solrathu

kadu kadu face. Says that she came to pick some papers left behind.
Finds them in tact and picks them up. Smells the food and wants to

brother shirked all the responsibilities and ran away. But Megs akka stays
with us and takes care of us. She is definitely far superior to your
brother.... now u can leave..." Athai fumes some more, goes to Megs
and says " enna ? kudumbam unnai support panraanga nnu gloating?
A day will come when they will throw you to the streets..." leaves.
Lachu and dhadi waiting for Viswam. Maniac and Samy are also
waiting. Lachu laments that Viswa is late and maniac says that
Viswa has to finish all formalities and come. Lachu brings some thing
to eat and says that she cooked it for Viswam -' but Viswa likes
Megs' cooking better. Ennai vida avanukku Megs thaan dearer"
Maniac can not stand this -'apdi sollatheenga amma. Always
amma is more important. Husband and wife may separate... divorce
nnu oru word irukku..." Lachu and dhadi look deeply in to maniac's face.
Maniac sutharichifies "but amma vai divorce panna mudiyaathe!!"
Lachu has a clear cut statement "thambi yetho pechu kku pesaringa.
But dont ever use the word divorce between Megs and Viswa ..even as a joke..."
Maniac is shocked...
