Okay, I may sound like a broken record, but I'm getting frustrated by the attitude of the creatives. I just talked to my aunt in India, and she has watched this show from Day 1. But, now, even she is going to stop because she's sure that since it's an Ekta show, they'll show Prem is not Prem, and is actually working for RR. Basically, she's only watching the show until Prem is The Prem. Now, this is from a die-hard fan of the show, so i don't even know about the people who just watch it for timepass.
I don't want to compare different shows, so without mentioning any names, I just want to point out that other shows in the top 10 in TRPs have NEVER played with the lead character's so much. I mean, other shows maintain the essence of the character, not keep bringing INSANE twists into it. Basically, the audience just wants some reassurance that Prem is PREM, and that he and Heer will work together to solve everything. Of course, the creatives actually have to show him working, too. Do they really think that the audience will accept Gaurav after all this time of seeing Prem?!?!?!
A lot of people are blaming Star Plus for shutting down shows, but don't you think it's the responsibility of the show to also have a good storyline?! TRPs will follow naturally.
