hi all, me here again with another topic. hehe. 😆
well, for during the weekend, i was immensely bored and began to read out the ff's in this forum, i must say there are quite a lot and i am really amazed at the talent of the ff writers in this forum. the way how you people weave the ideas through words truly had led me speechless. and yesterday, i opened up the topic by optimist and was very much amazed how she began to write her ff through a scratch of an idea. i know it wont be easy for a first timer to write anything unless someone else support for it.
so, like optimist, i'm sure all of the other ff writers must somehow felt hesitant to carry on with your writing at first.
i would like to know from all of the talented ff writers in this forum how you got inspired and
how you began to write your ff😊

Nice topic. I am curious to know how my fellow writers get inspired to write.

I was not new to writing. I used to write poems and stories in my mother tongue during my teens.

When I joined this forum last year, I started reading a couple of FFs (Sangeeta's and Munee's). Reading through them, I felt like writing something too. I was depressed over some personal matter one day and I wrote about 15 pages mindlessly about Michi. That made me suprisingly relax. But I hadn't planned that FF, so didn't really have a story to tell in there.

Later after few months, I was very disappointed with Kayamath that they didn't keep Michi together through Prachi's pregnancy. I was extremely sad that Milind didn't get to enjoy his fatherhood which he so longed for. I ended up writing a short FF called "Dreams" to fulfil my dreams for Milind.

Later I wrote another FF called "Pyar kya hota hain" to tell a simple Michi love story.

Then I wrote another FF called "You are the one" because I wanted Milind to accept a Prachi who had a past (a marriage and a baby) and also wanted to show how Prachi secretly loved Milind Mishra who was her friend/philosoper/guide though he didn't even know her.

Later I wrote a few one part FFs where I again fulfilled my dreams for Milind, Prachi, Ayesha and Kayamath. Bascially what I wanted to see in the soap which they were never to show.

Though writing FFs is a satisfying, joyous experience (It feels great when readers interact with you agreeing or disagreeing with what you write)- It had a negative effect on me. I was spending too much time on writing updates (every update takes at least 2 hrs) and that way my work suffered. I have forcefully stopped myself from writing these days.

I guess mine was quite a simple thing one day overcome with heightened passion for Michi I started writing my first ff Til death do us apart. I must admit had my mind not been clouded by Michi love twenty four seven i would never have been able to discover the writer in me. I must thank the members of Kayamath forum who always supported me in my initial days and now too. KYM certainly made me realize I could write.... even though I still believe it needs improvement in many facets but I am happy that atleast I was able to follow my heart.
