Saif in the fast lane

Saif Ali Khan was awarded the Best Brand Ambassador Male at the NDTV Profit Car & Bike Awards yesterday for his association with Chevrolet. We caught up with the actor and he spoke about his love for fast cars as well as his symbiotic relationship with the brand.

Saif says, "I am diehard fan of racing cars and I had an amazing experience doing Tara Rum Pum. It was all about car racing and I had to drive at over 200 hundred mile per hour during the shoot. I had an incredible time doing that."

He adds, "People all over the world are crazy about F1 nowadays. In Amercia, they are crazy about car racing and so am I. Driving was thrilling because of the slanting turns- a slight mistake could have put me in danger. Thankfully, everything went perfectly. I loved doing it. It was an extraordinary experience that I had while filming for Ta Ra Rum Pum."

On his association with Chevrolet he said, "It goes way back when my mother was at the peak of her career and use to drive a Chevrolet Impala many years ago. That was my first exposure to the brand. I feel very proud to be associated with it and I think it has been mutually beneficial association for both of us."

While receiving the award for the Best Brand Ambassador Male, Saif said, "It is a great feeling receiving this award and it's really a very special one for me indeed."

im so sick of awards these days 🤢 every lalloo panjoo has an award, theyre rediculous...so many categories that theyve lost the actual meaning.....i completely understand and respect the fact why amir doesnt accept awards

not that saif is a lalloo lol...but cmon, best brand ambassador?
