I once saw an interview of Jaya Bachchan where she was at the opening of a designer clothes store..and she was in NO mood in talking to the media.

The media still asked her questions...this one young female journalist asked her a question..

Female Journalist- Ma'am, aap apni personal life mein kaise kapre pehenti hain?

To which Jaya replied (very arrogantly) she goes..

Jaya- Oh God phir se sawaal, ab main aap ko kya bulaoon? Aap meri beti to hain nahin, aap meri friend bhi nahin ho sakti, nahi aap meri ma hain, or aap meri bahu to kabhi ho hi nahin sakti!!! (everyone in the background laughs) ...lekin mein salwaar kameez pehen pasand karti hoon.

Jaya for no reason made fun of the journalist very ruthlessly...that day I lost ALL my respect for her

I know! She always sound arrogant and rude even in the new show:The first ladies! .But media will never write bad things about that but if kareena does that, it will make a "breaking news"....

i used to think of bachchan family as one degnified and honorable family, but over the years as media started paying attention to them (or i started paying attention to media), they just ruined their whole image for me.

Especially Jaya, i seriously thought she was the most degnified lady in bollywood bt her first interview on KWK, totally ruined it for me.

it was downhill from then on! sigh..

and as for Kareena ignoring Mr.B, who cares..he is not her father, and she doesn't owe him anything! It's her life , she can do watever she likes!

Well wen he is arrogant wat u wanted me to do??? Say he is a god and so down to earth? With Kareena always speaking highly of the Bachchans and them always snubbing her and refusing to work with her, wat did u expect me to say? And yeah its indeed PATHETIC and CHEAP of the media coz they always did so for Kareena...Here's a perfect example.While Kareena did wish Amitabh, it is clearly seen how they fabricated this crap and tried to portray her as arrogant...Just like wen Kareena did not perform at Screen, they said she was arrogant n wen a certain actress also didn't perform there,they say she had prior commitments....😡
