I noticed this inthe very first episode it'self. This storyline is similar to the movie 'Gadar... Ek Prem Katha'
The one about the partition, with Sunny Deol playing a sikh and Amisha Patel playing a muslim. When Amisha Patel gets left behind in India, Sunny Deol helps her. He keeps her in his house, revives her, fights off the people that wat to kill her. They fall in love and get married, but then Amisha Patel finds out that her family is alive and in Pakistan. She goes to visit them but they don't let her go back to India. And they try and separate husband and wife.
Ring a bell anyone?
Well this is just like that, butthe other way around.
Ganga finds Manav and saves his life. She goes against the entire village to keep him in her house, even ready to fight people off.
And yesterday, when she called Manav's house, it reminded me of the movie again. Manav is a rich boy with a snooty and cold family, and once Ganga and Manav are married, they'll have to go live with them and obviously people will try and kick Ganga out, and separate them
What do you think?

I think the story is little different it is not about the partition but I agree with you it seems like the same concept.
