The romance between Aishwarya Rai and actor Abhishek Bachchan dates from the beginning of the year. The young man is the only son of Amitabh Bachchan, 63 years old, a leading (topmost) actor from Bollywood and a semi-God for the Indians. His son, it seems, has not been able to crush the paternal aura. He readily states that he dislikes his physique, his diction is imperfect, his looks which lack the intensity. However, his charm comes from this because he does not look like / resemble a film star. The rumours began the day following his 30th birthday, last february: Abhishek invited Aishwarya Rai to dance and he presented her to his parents, which isn't a negligible act in India. Scandal mongers speculate this is a publicity stunt to boost the three films they will be working together in 2006. A lot of their friends persist that with the programme for the next three years, marriage is not imminent. In India, they do not get married hastily in Las Vegas, it would deprive the public and family of bridal celebrations.
