Why Neha will do great in Indian Idol

I see a lot of negativity about Neha here. Why complain about Neha if Dalpreet doesn't get selected?

I too believe that Dalpreet sang very well and she should have been in, but if she is not that doesn't mean it's Neha's fault. I think the poor song selection did it for Dalpreet and Ritu.

As someone else said here, I think Neha is the most passionate among all the girls. Whenever you watch her on Screen, you feel that she loves giving the best. And I think she works hard. Remember the 'Dedar De' song in theatre round? I think she was among the few who prepared a little dance to go with the song. In the Piano Round, when Aman was asking why she should be selected, she gave a very funny answer mimicking 'Deepika Ji' from Nirma Super Ad. Tell me who else gave such a witty answer among the 14 singers we have seen so far? It definitely proves that she works on all the different aspects and not just singing.

And you may find 'Jai Mata Di' annoying, but I am sure that she connects with a lot more people because of that.

Also, she really does enjoy when she sings. I can feel that she is enjoying and that's what makes me enjoy her performance even more. I think Ritesh correctly noted that in his comment and I completely agree with him.

Finally let me tell you she is tough. During her audition, Sonu asked 'You won't cry if we say No, will you?'. She just gave a painful smile and didn't cry. Even in piano round, when Sonu said that he didn't like her performance, she accepted the comment with a SMILE. Unlike Ritu and Yashshashree, she didn't start crying on stage. And she is what, 17? My blood pressure goes up sitting here in my room and she handles it pretty cool.

All things put together, I think she will do excellent in Indian Idol show, mark my words.

And one more thing. Someone else started a thread saying that Neha looks like a hooker. I think that's a very cheap behavior on that person's part and as an educated and civilized people, I would request people not make such cheap comments.

we not blaming neha, but she shouldn't be in top 3. If people like you vote for her then Person like Dilpreet has to go.

Unfortunately I can't vote either as I am in States. I am just telling why I feel that Neha will do better, no matter whether you feel that she should be in Top 3 or not.

Pkpkid I agree with u. I saw there is something in her eyes that was appearent to me that she believe in herself and she is not at all afraid and in result episod she had very positive attitude. She was so much into the sonng yesterday and it was so much of her origionality in her voice that set her appart. You feel like here is someone who can give Indian public a verygood time.

Someone so rediculously wrote here that she looked like whore. It was so disgusting and cheapest thing u can read about an Indian girl who is there among top young talents and it is not easy to be there when you are just 17 and not easy to evoke so much passion on stage throgh singing.

I think she will go long way in Indian Idol 2. You can look into her eyes and u can feel the masti in her singing that a young girl should have.

Jai mata di...These are the words that gives her confidence. She seems a girl with character and strong religios belief. You just cannot call her a whore or Phoolan Devi.

People are so cheap sometimes. They just forget that all the participants are there because of hard work. They don't have morality to talk in cheap manner about any participant.

My Indian Idol is Neha

Coz I am sure she is going to imrpove her singing because she looked the charachter who is fearless very focused on what she is doing and enjoying the platform. And such determination can do it for u. I liked these qualities in her so I am sure she will improve her singing for those who do not find the origionality and uniquness in her voice.

Up to this point I am confused between Karunya and NEha...both are my favrite..let's see wht happens in next 2 grps.

actually what puts me off neha is all her songs are so cabaret--ish... i wish she would try a diff type of song next time so we can judge if she is true indian idol material or not.

she is having very sexy voice...
dont know that will she able to sing sweet n romantic songs in future as she has not sung that kind of songs yet...
but one thing i really like abt her is her confidence level and her nature to eccept reality n truth
i really liked her answer which she gave mini and aman when they asked what if she will b gone from here?
her answer was..."main yahi samjhungi k abhi mera time nahi hai aur shayad oopar wale ne mere liye isse bhi achha kuchh soch rakha ho"
