Arjun stops her from leaving, telling her that he wasn't talking to her, but rather to Vikas Gupta. (I told you yesterday, he wasn't looking at Arohi when he said the "f" word! ..aap sab bhi na! 😉😛). Arjun tells him that earlier, when he'd asked Vikas about his whereabouts (re: evening of the "blackout-incident"/yesterday), Vikas had told him that he'd gone home to have dinner with his wife and kids. However, now before all his colleagues he has admitted that his wife and kids have been away for the last 7 days! Arjun continues to tell them that four days ago he had arranged for CCTV cameras to be installed in the office so as to keep a check on "this girl" (looking towards Arohi), and on the evening of the blackout-incident, Vikas was caught leaving the store-room by one of them!
An employee takes the CD from Arjun and puts it on. Saloni appears and stands next to Arohi. They all watch the footage - whereby Vikas is shown pulling Salon into the store-room.
Arjun once again tells Vikas that he's fired. He reiterates to all listening, that he holds people in high-esteem, regardless of them being male or female. He turns towards Saloni and reinstates her. He then leaves.
Arohi follows Arjun to his car so as to apologise to him. He tells her off for taking such a risk - reminding her that had he not had the CD, her reputation would have been tarnished! Arjun tells her that she wasn't wrong in doing what she did, but a wrong-doing could have taken place as a result of it. He then tells her that he had thought her to be quite smart, but in fact she's proven herself to be quite stupid! (kya compliment hai!). He leaves. Saloni appears - shocked to have seen this side of Arjun, one which kindof understands women in spite of distrusting them. Arohi agrees but then tells Saloni not to overdo the praise - he's no hero. (if you say so dear!) 😆
The next morning, Arjun is sat in his bed looking at a scrapbook entitled "Arjun's Birthday Book" - in which each birthday-year contains 3 hand-prints. Arjun recalls how his father had decided that all three of them (his both parents and he) would print their hands in the book to mark Arjun's birthday, confirming as evidence in later years that they celebrated it "together". As Arjun continues to turn the pages, he recalls his parents constant argument (mom wanting him to be a big singer like her; but dad arguing that he's to become a business-man, owner of a big music company). He's interrupted from his thoughts by his dad, who wishes him "Happy Birthday!" Whilst they acknowledge that his mother is no longer with them, DK reminds him that like all years they still need to continue with their tradition. DK then gifts Arjun their old house as his birthday gift.
Arohi is walking around the office whilst speaking with her badi-ma on her mobile - relaying Arjun's behaviour-issues and decides to *maybe* give him some advice (in the whole while, she refers to him as a sarrodhu!😆). She then asks badi-ma whether she is still coming to Shimla as per usual? She ends the call and spots Saloni heading with a bouquet of flowers.
Arohi enters Arjun's office and attempts to hand him the bouquet - but on realising that it's for his birthday, he goes off on one - not allowing her to complete her sentence! Arjun tells her that his birthday makes no difference to her, nor her's to him ..and if he was to celebrate, he would do so with his "own-type" of people! Arohi very calmly tells him that if someone has an issue with flowers, then the issue lays with the person not the flowers - that's what her badi-ma always tells her. If something is always bothering him, then he should throw it out of his life and start over again. As she's about to leave, she tells him that Saloni sent the bouqet as a way of thanks - so he can choose whether to keep them or throw them away. Arohi leaves. Arjun is left annoyed.
As he seats himself on his desk, he notices the old-house keys. He recalls his dad's and Arohi's words.
Hari Prasad is wandering why DK Punj and Mr Mitthal are coming over . He asks Bua to make sure things are in order and leaves to buy some mitthai. Bua decides to take Sur and Antra with her to clean the house, leaving Poorvi to continue making the breakfast. As she heads to leave, she see's Poorvi panic on hearing a plane pass over their house - with perspiration appearing on her forehead. Bua is concerned and tells Poorvi to take rest, she'll see to the cooking; Poorvi attempts to argue otherwise, but Bua insists.
Hari Prasad is seated with DK and Mr and Mrs Mitthal - trying to determine their reason for coming. DK explains that he had hoped to use the excuse of meeting at home so as to meet with his daughters. Bua begins to introduce the girls - leaving Poorvi to last, as she's the bestest of them. DK and Mr Mitthal are pleased, Padma is bored. Mr Mitthal attempts to begin the "topic", but hesitates ..Hari Prasad tires to put him at ease. Eventually, Mr Mitthal asks him for his daughter's hand. Hari Prasad looks at Bua confused - he then asks Mr Mitthal to confirm which daughter he's talking about. Mr Mitthal confirms - Poorvi for Salil. Everyone is left speechless. Poorvi runs off. Mr Mitthal continues that Salil has fallen in love with her on first-sight and for his happiness they are sitting here. He then asks them to take their time to consider the proposal and let them know once they reach a decision.
On the return-journey, Padma questions Poorvi's departure. Mr Mitthal assumes she must have become embarrassed, Padma isn't convinced, why else would the rest of the family appear shell-shocked too? She's sure something is amiss - and she is determined to find out what.
Hari Prasad appears in the girls bedroom to find Poorvi crying. She tells him that they shouldn't have come like this, she's his daughter-in-law, widower of his son (a lieutenant); but has remained in the house as his daughter. Hari Prasad tries to reason that it's possible that they aren't aware of the facts, Porrvi tells him to correct them.
Arjun tells Siddharth to conduct the presentation to the clients - Arohi stands disappointed. Siddharth feels bad, and so asks Arjun if he may seek Arohi's help in completing the project. Arjun spots the flowers and tells them that she may - that is, on their arrival, she is to hand them flowers. As no-one else could carry-out that task better! 😛 He leaves. The remaining employees realise that they have forgotten to give him his birthday cake, Siddharth suggests that they leave it in his office - Arjun will see it on his return.
Arohi realises she has the file Arjun needed and heads to his office. Arjun on the other hand has returned, and sees the cake on the table - he fumes, wrongly assuming that Arohi has put it there.
Arohi appears, Arjun sarcastically asks her if there are any more surprises left for her to present to him today? Arohi is confused. He rants and raves about his mood being spoiled by her bringing the birthday cake for him - when he has more iimportant things to do; after all he's a business man! Arohi stops him - asking how he could even assume it was her?! First he had mistaken Saloni's bouquet and now this cake?! Arohi informs him that she would only celebrate the birthday of a boss whom she got along with, not one she has a "yes sir-no sir" relationship. She turns to the files and tells him that she had come to give him these - she too has other things to do than think about celebrating his birthday. She storms off.
Arjun angrily picks-up the cake and throws it at the door... just then Arohi returns to say something but instead is met with the cake being smacked in her face. 😆😉 Both are left speechless!
