Whilst waiting for "Arjun Sir" Anisa spots a photograph of Rahul and Arjun together and wanders why it's on "Arjun Sir's" desk... but quickly concludes that it must be becos of his hard work/loyalty (ie. she recalls the moment when he heatedly spoke about the New Year Party / owner's death).

Marlyani appears and Anisa explains that she is waiting for Arjun to return from his meeting – and in the meanwhile begins to narrate her idea (re: "Desi Girl" title yet contents all International). Marlyani tells Anisa to go ahead and complete the project, as she's sure Arjun will approve. As Anisa leaves, Marlyani thinks that Anisa is now finished.

Anisa hopes the project does well so as to allow Rahul the credit/appreciation from Arjun. In the process, she is disturbed by her "inner-self" who questions her reason for wanting Rahul to take credit for her effort/work. Anisa recalls how had it not been for Rahul, she would not have had the opportunity to work as his secretary; also how he had helped her out in her time of need (ie. payment for pizza-order; taking dad to hospital); and therefore she owes him such "credit" and more.

Arjun throws the file away in frustration, thinking out aloud that Anisa should be aware of her limitations – she has no experience of the market, when Marlyani interrupts – informing him that Anisa is making headway with the idea. They argue.

PRECAP – Arjun appears in the reception-area and tells all the models to leave, when Anisa questions him, he begins to shout at her ….
