I usually am a silent member in these forums and i don't watch bidaai that regularly but still i do try..But today's episode left me speechless..I mean it was beautiful..Right from ranvir's speech to the end..Ranvir was amazing, and what he said was soo beautiful..He pointed out how hypocritic our society is when we judge ppl by looks. I mean love is not about the outer beauty because that fades and this has been true since the time of shakesphere. Its about the inner beauty that ragini has..

But the part that touched me the most was the end, when ragini's father goes to ranvir and thanks him. I mean can you imagine the emotions of such a father. I mean he is giving his daughter away in a few days and he realizes that the guy she is marrying is a guy thats even better then him. I mean this is a father that has seen his daughter get insulted on her looks or something all the time and it has broken his heart that he could'nt do anything about it. This is a father who just wanted people to see his daughter as the gem she is. And finally after so much drama and all that he found a guy who he knows will keep his daughter more happier then she ever was...

And the way this was shown is amazing..i dont think i have seen any serial do it this well..In most serials you see that the guy just marries off the girl and the focus is on his family, i mean even in our society- the guys family is given more importance. But finally in this show, they show the sacrifices the girls family goes through. And i love the way ranvir and even alekh take care of "sharmaji", i mean the part where alekh wipes the tears of sharmaji..it was sooo sweet..

and i think most girls do want a guy that her parents would admire and he would take care of her parents too because, our parents do matter that much...

Ragini is truly very very lucky.. :)
yeah sorry for the lecture but today i could'nt stop myself from commenting

hi hemanshi
it was not a lecture at all u had written brillently.
it is so much true that in other serial focus on family only.
i totally agree with u
even i'm just speechless on that i even not finding words what should i write 2 ur post
it was heart crying.
the emotions depected were so much true.
sharmaji will be so much proud of his daughter that he find a match who can protect her from all odds of the society what he can't do for his daughter her life partner has done it.

It was the same for me....this part really choked me up.....Alokji was totally brilliant! My favorite line was, "Beta, aaj tumne naa sirf Ragini ko woh unchaa darjaa diya hai jiski woh haqdaar hai, balki hum sabko us unchaayee tak uthaa diya ki palbhar ke liye mujhe lagaa jaise maine aasmaan choo liya ho"....the way he chokes up on the 'aasmaan choo liya ho' really choked me up as well....and then the way he continues, 'mohabbat ki aise gehraayee maine aaj tak nahin dekhi, main toh dhanya no gaya".....and the way Ranvir just hugs him in tears......I have no words to express.....I have never seen a soap in recent times expressing emotions so beautifully.....This episode will go down as one of the best Bidaai epis ever.....

Well said guys!!

I agree... the scene when Ranvir came n stood for Ragini.... and talking about himself n His love n "them" n twists the question and asks question to sheetal and the society which actually gives importance to beauty than anything else!!Prakashchand actually proud to have son in law's like Ranvir and Aalekh both are a GEM

However end scene was beautiful... Emotions potrayed in a simple yet so effective way.... hatts off to the team... Prakashchand always Said Kaushaliya ji that Ranvir's love would be like a balm and his words came true the entire family saw Ranvir's love is indeed Ragini's strength and Ragini's Happiness is Ranvir's and the best thing is the communication of younger generation and elder generation shows respect... Respect what we give our parents n elders while talking which is fantastic!!

Probably one of the best episode of the show Loved it totally seriously!!

Luv,

Shagun

I know many people will disagree with me, but I feel there was a problem in direction today. A father would not bear hearing so much about his daughter without saying anything, he would not stay quiet for so long. I think Sheetal had too long of a dialogue. But yes his emotions were very nicely shown. Alokji is an amazing actor.

He was in shock for the most part and he was just about to go and shut up Sheetal when Ranvir showed up. They prolonged the Sheetal dialogue to build things up....and the highlight was meant to be Ranvir defending Ragini....As Mamaji said himself in the end, he has shut up ppl in the past for Ragini and has tried to console her, but he could never really get through to Ragini the way Ranvir did yesterday with his unconditional love and support.
