Silent signals of distress

One of the most powerful moments in today's epi I felt were the looks exchanged b/w Mamaji and Mamiji as Sheetal was deriding Ragini.

With each barb of hers about 'roop', 'rang', 'society status' etc. etc, Mamiji would turn to look at Mamaji....her eyes clearly signalling her distress that her worst nightmares were coming true in front of her eyes.....as if to say, "I told you, didn't I?".....I felt really bad for her....and for the way Mamaji was looking back at her helplessly....unable to say anything....for he was in complete shock and unable to believe this was happening....

While the camera panned to other actors as Sheetal's tirade was going on as well, the two people whose body language and expressions stood out the most were Mamaji and Mamiji. A very well enacted scene by Alokji and Vibhaji👏👏👏

Vibhaji was just brilliant in that scene! Alokji toh is just always fabulous! But the way she communicated a mother's distress....wow! It was amazing!

But *sigh* it's sad that this incident will now cast a pall of gloom over the wedding celebrations :-(.....cuz Mamiji will now obviously go back to dreading about Ragini's future :S

All depends on how Ranvir handles the situation once he lands up there....

But Anu i think Mamiji shudnt think about all that now....coz Vasu answered back to sheetal and hopefully Ranvir will also come to Ragini's rescue.

But u know as they say itne achche mouqe per agar dil mein koi baat atak jaaye toh pura mazaa kharab ho jaata hai.
Mamiji toh mamiji....but just imagine ragini.....poor baby....this is the second incident like this for her.

I too hope that sum1 puts sheetal in her place and gets everyone smile for this auspious occassion.

Ragi I know will be fine, Sonal.....Ranvir will cheer her up....his love acts like a balm and soothes the hurt from all these taunts.

But Mamiji's fears are the ones that will return full force again....Ranvir's love won't be able to calm her fears.....Yes, Vasu is replying back to Sheetal, so is Ambika.....but given what they've shown of Kaushi so far, I have no doubt she is going to have a big convo with Mamaji over this and wonder if her fears weren't unfounded after all.

Anyways, ab toh sab kal pe hi dependent hai....I hope they DO show Ranvir showing up tomorrow and putting Sheetal in her place.

I do understand Anu the concern that mamiji has.....but didnt everyone knew that some or other day something like this wud happen.

Even Vasu....didnt she think to herself that..."y is she giving importance to what avni said abt RagVir jodi".....

Given the jodi that RagVir make(i mean complexion wise)....she also anticipated this taunts from the society......and so did mamiji.

Its only that noone thought it wud happen this soon.

But moms r always moms.......they are as it is too emotional in themselves...and then thier worst dreams relating thier kids coming true is like sleeping on the bed of thorns.

So u r right.....the wedding will happen regardless....but the concern and worry that mamiji will have from now on for Ragini in her sasural....will increase even more.

I think that Ranvir might put a balm on Mamiji's fears too. Hopefully he handles it well enough that there's no room for any silly comments from any of Vasu's friends.

Very well said Anu... I agree the expressions said it all tht scene stood out because of Alokh ji n Vibhaji they are actors of great calibre... Felt Miserable for Ragini she was helpless so were others, As far as i remember seeing SBS it clearly showed that Ambika speaks and before Prakashchand speaks Ranvir's voice is heard, may b he wasnt present tht moment for the shoot n later on he wud have come n given his shot am really waiting to see how Ranvir tackles this would be interesting to see indeed!!
