there was a time when items songs were belonged to the gorgeous divas of bolly, their jhatkas and matkas used to woo the audiences sometimes even pull them in the theatres, who can forget madhuri's all time pullers, urmila's chamma chamma, karisma's dil le gayi le gayi, ashwariya's ishq kamina, and many more unforegettable numbers..at that time bollywood hunks used to be on their supporting side for the dances..
but today everything has changed...unlike the men oriented industry, actors have left actresses far in items and their ratio of success is much bigger than them, this is certainly a shock, today actors have become smarter they have understood the importance of logic of naachna gaana in the film, its the easiset way to reeive claps, whistles and promotion, srk, aamir, sanjay dut, saif all have joined the item brigade and made their popularity thrice over the actresses.
its not true that items of bolly beauties are not working, they are but on some extent, the impact is missing, the charm is missng that is required to play a magic....but that does not mean there is any fault in the quality, there seems to be a difference in the taste of audiences...
if we take the record of the past year...men's items ruled it completely whereas for the actresses there were a handful of successes
last yr, baadhshah SRK and hrithik roshan jointly added up the spice in movie krazzy 4 wth their sexy and slick items, the movie had an item from rakhi sawant...but eevrybody knew how popular it was,

not only this there were few more disastrious items last year making them and their movies forgettable.
minisha lamba in kidnap tried her level best by pulling off her clothes to the best but it couldnt save her item hey ya from being a prominent disaster.
