It seems all my breakable resolutions were made to be , well...broken..!
First i declared i would take a break from MandA--then 2 days later i was fantasising about what would it have been like if the impossible happened....
Then i said i would ignore SS and SandA...but i couldn't resist after watching NB yesterday:
In all fairness, i think SS performed much better than Apu in the mega final yesterday. I mean, both had their steps down pat, but SS was more lively and enthusiastic, and eager to prove herself. She was never so good when those two were actually in the competition.
AA, on the other hand, looked tired and morose. Maybe he was feeling bad about not being in the winning fray. But dear boy, that is called sporting spirit--smiling when you have no real reason to.
Anyway i don't think he was being a bad loser, probably he was having a bad day. On the other hand, that young lady SS (i'm sounding like a grumpy old lady!) needs to make a nodding acquaintance with modesty. It is a BIG compliment when the judges say that the public made a mistake in voting you out, but a BIG blunder if you say the same thing for yourself. No one takes kindly to their decision being belittled, least of all the temperamental Indian public.
It was such a funny contrast: I was switching between JJKN, NB and Kohinoor, so one minute i would see AA looking lost and tired in NB, and the next minute i would see him romancing Mona....errr, Wallyđ and fooling around with Nandu-"Nandu sir" (that was cute!) and what not. But even the JandA AT was diluted by the scene of MM crying over the phone, so all said and done,my vote of hottest hunk of the evening goes to Samar of Kohinoorđ, over and above Dimples.
MM actually looked sweet crying. My heart went out to him. At least he did not look constipated yesterday. On the contrary, he looked as if he had taken an overdose of laxative and was despo to rush to the loo!
Still......poor chap!đ
Coming back to NB, the vibes SnadA shared were pretty cold. When the judges praised their performance, SS was talking about how they did not have as much time as they used to ---was that a meaningful glance she gave Apu?--- but still put in their best. Apu didn't seem very pleased when she said that.
BTW, why were both Apu and Parmeet wearing the same kind of dumb cap?đ¤˘
Overall, it was a pretty eventful end of the week's TV quota. Weekends are a drag!
