Episode No 400 Friday 2/1/09 ( ore jiginaa for reaching that
number...one session of RKO as background would have been
a fitting alangaaram!!)

Roja is not sure - to heave a sigh of relief or abuse her
forehead by hitting it against a wall????? - It is all about maniac
and Samy searching for cow's milk . Maniac wakes Samy
who refuses to get up "in the middle of the night" - both go around
the remote corners of Madras in search of cow's milk. After
getting some choice Pettai Thamizh archanais, the duo are
directed to some one who owns a cow. Maniac orders Samy to
milk the cow...Cow decides to dole out a few blows ( Roja thanks
the cow...aanalum Dharshiini, - cow's name - nee antha maniac
kku rendu Othai kuduthu irukkanum...hmmm) Finally Samy manages
to get some milk out of the cow and the duo return home - Paatti
rightly observes that Samy's face is all lopsided. After some "pch pch"
from the RKO clan ( Tilaga would have loved to start a session!!- ayyo ,
enga amma kku cow's milk thedi pOi Samy kku ipdi aache..vu vu vu )
Megs tells maniac that none of them are happy about this hiding from
the police -"we might as well go and tell them the truth.." Maniac says
that he is sorting out issues .."planning to meet my police friend this
evening...wait until then, ok?" Megs agrees...

Episode No 401 Monday 5/1/09

QBS and COD - romancing around. COD is a trained pedicurist -
clips the nails for QBS - and both are happy ( hmmm ithu innum
yethanai naal??? Summa irukkiyaa, suya roobathai kaattavaa
nnu QBS eppo murungai maram yera pOraalO??) Muzhi comes
there. Looks restless and the couple do some probing. Muzhi says
that he went to Tilaga's place and found it locked - "athaan ellarum
enge nnu kettu ttu, unnaiyum paarthu ttu pogalam nnu..." It is
obvious from his face that he is in trouble. COD wants to know
if he needs any money..... but Muzhi leaves saying " I am fine"
QBS chides COD for bringing in the topic of money "he will feel
insulted..." COD says some thing.... Roja sits up .. sariyaana karu
naakku unakku... rendum normal aa irukku nnuippo thaane sonne....
The would have been fightis quenched by COD - "vendaam, namba
ithukkaga sandai poda vendam..." Both smile - Roja does a habbbbaaa

Muzhi and Kavi - The friend , Chandra comes asking for her chain. Kavi
offers "tea or coffee" which gets rejected - "nagaiyai kudu, naa pOi
kitte irukken" Kavi calls out to darling hubby and Muzhi comes out. Athai
also enters the house with a veggie bag in hand. Muzhi wants more
time.... Kavi probes.... " Mugame (Muzhi ye??) sariya illai, En kitte yethaiyO
maraikkire...sollu... spill out NOW" Finally Muzhi boasts about his tea kadai
adventure.... the rest are stunned ...Kavi proves that she qualifies to
be a part of Tilaga clan - spreads her side plates ....wiiiddddeeee.... Chandra
frets first and tells Kavi that she cant hold her mother any more "enna Kavi
ithellam??? na ippo enna seyya?....." Kavi pleads ..."Chandra please, 2 naal
poruthukkO....." Chandra is cooler now... tells Kavi that she will some how
manage her mom..." but 2 days le kuduthudanum, ok?" Leaves. Kavi is real
mad. Shouts at Muzhi " oru chinna kaariyam panna thuppu illai, nee enna
manushan?? I was brought up like a queen by my parents. People used to
come to me for help.. I am so usedto helping others... I have never gone around
asking for help!!! Unnai kalyaanam pannindathu periya thappu...." Athai
intervenes saying " vidu Kavitha..yetho ketta neram..." Kavi flares some
more - " ketta neramaa?? Yaarukku?? enakku thaan ketta neram.... I am going
back to my parents.... intha kalyaanam pothum, I cant trust him any more...."
goes in to pack. Athai pats Muzhi " naa epdiyaanum money kku arrange
panren, ok?" Muzhi stands alone...weeping...

Angu and Loosu - as usual talk about some chutney and kuruma.. Viji hears
that and frets. Goes to tams - " anni last night namba epdi kathinOm? marupadi
avanga rendu perum...paarunga..." First Tams talks about the menu ..
drooling.... but Viji brings her back to the earth - " anni , intha veet le avanga
rendu peraiyum kelvi kekkara dhairiyam ungalukku mattum thaan.... please
anni, Loosumani yai veettai vittu virattunga..." Tams is happy for a chance
to fight.... goes to mommy and starts - " send Loosu out. Moron told u to do
so last night.... innum konjariye??" Angu points out that it is Tams who has to
leave - " Loosu is my DIL, she has rights to stay here.. U live in your dad's
place and talk like this?? It is u who has to go to your hubby's house.." Tams is
livid with anger - "yennai veliye poga solriyaa?" Now Viji shouts to Angu and
Angu again points out that Viji has no rights either - " u married moron on the
sly..... u leave..." Danda, Santhanam, moron and the rest arrive... words fly
everywhere..... Viji packs and leaves...moron tries to stop but Viji says "it is either
me or her here..." Calls out to dad and as both leave Viji faints.... ( aha ha
ippo iva preggie yaa??? medical report boomerang panniyaachaa??
Santhanam, nee paricha kuzhi le neeye vizhuthuntiyaa????) Tams , moron
and santhanam fuss around Viji..... Loosu looks worried.. Angu spreads her
side plates.... she is Tilaga's sambhandhi after all

Episode No 402 Tuesday

Booooommmmeeerrraaannnnggggg - As predicted by mad
Roja Viji is preggie..... The doctor checks her up and tells her
that she needs to get some tests done. Danda clan looks
shocked - Doctor paavam, samayam theriyaame kirukku
mathiri -" enna makkale, nalla news solli yirukken, sweet illiya??"
Moron is all set to kill the doc but doc goes on - " wife ai nalla
parthukkanum, fruits veggie..." Moron explodes "athellam naanga
parthukkarOm, u quit" ThappichOm pizhaichOm nnu doc runs off.
The clan now turn their attention to illegal DIL and her dad. Moron
does the one thing he knows well - beats his No 2 and demands
to know the sourceof pregnancy. Viji cries pleading innocence ....
Loosu spreads her sideplates..... Tams is confused.....Angu also
does a bathrakali act with her eyes........ supreme court intervenes.
"enna ya ippo enna bathil solla pore?? mariyadhaiya un darling
daughter ai kooti kittu veliye nada" Santhanam has no option left -
confesses - " Maapillai can not sire children nnu kudutha report is
false. Since Loosu was preggie, i wanted to malign her. So , asked
the doc to give a report like this, my daughter is innocent..." Now
Angu grabs the opportunity to throw daggars - "neeyellam enna
manushan?? naanga drama panninOm nnu kuthichiye? Ippo??"
While the clan is still in the process of digesting the news Angu
fans the fire - " Viji must be a coconspirer - appa kooda plan panni
yirukka" Moron once again beats No 2 who further pleads "ayyo I do
not know any thing. My father has done some thing with out my knoweldge...."
Santhanam augments her statement - " Viji does not know any thing.
Please do not punish my daughter for my misdemeanor" Danda takes
the gavel and gives the verdict - " inimel intha veetu pakkam thalai vaichu
padukkathe, Odidu" - looks like the supreme court verdict on the paternity
suit favors Viji. All leave the arena. Angu informs Loosu that all those who
tried to evict Loosu are on the way out - plays kudukuduppandi - "nalla
kaalam pirakkuthu, Loosu unakku nalla kaalam pirakkuthu....very soon.."
( Roa has a typical Abi smirk ..hmmm living with moron is nalla kaalam??
Angu, get a life,ok?) Viji runs in to her room crying. Angu takes the medical
report , looks at it as if she just passed out of Med school and decides to
pick the doctor's brain!!!!

Maniac' house - Tilaga comes out "maappillai coffee" Maniac smiles
and asks for Megs. Tilaga replies that his darling is making his favorite
dish - "making aappams for u" As maniac smiles Megs comes out
calling ennanga..... ( aappamaa?? Aappa??? enna vaikka pogirai??
Innum ennai enna seyya pogirai yenthan anbe .... - BG by Roja)
Kiratana leaves for college after she invites " maama and akka" for
her college function.. well finally the karadi Samy wakes maniac -
" Anbu Anbu, intha coffee" maniac tells him his dream and asks for
aappams.....Samy chides him. Tilaga wants Megs and Kirtana to go
the temple - "innum 4 fridays vilakku pOdanum..athaan" Maniac
says that it is not advisable for Kirtana to go jalan jalan - " the police
case is all about her.... she might as well stay indoors.." Tilaga
worries about Megs going alone. Maniac promises to drive her
to the temple and bringher back . Samy raises a quizzical eye -
Maniac tells him that he plans to take Megs to the temple and propose.....

Muzhi at home - recalling all Kavi said ...how she called him useless
and all ready to walk out of the marriage ..cries some ( I am sure my
mom would organize a RKO when I am gone.. i can't be a part of it...
so let me do it NOW) Since the serials always include poison bottle
or sleeping pills in their monthly grocery list, Muzhi finds what he
wants in the fridge. Consumes a whole lot, drinks water and immediately
suffers throat constriction ( Roja might need that - such a potent killer
might come in handy for her CKs) Falls down....

Episode No 403 Wednesday 7/1/09

Maniac in the car with lover girl - both reach the temple.
maniac asks Megs to go in alone - " i do not believe in
God. I have not seen god until now and I am sure i will
never get to see ...why bother about some thing that does
not exist??" Megs quickly asks about the pooja for the new
project " u did accept the vibhuthi??'- maniac says that he did not
want to create a scene in front of all those construction crew,
athaan.." Megs goes in to the temple. Maniac goes back to his car
and waits - goes to za za land again - Megs comes back, smiles
at him.... he talks about her wedding...finally says that he has
decided to tie the knot....."well u are my choice..." Megs smiles
and says that she was waiting for him to make the first move...
zzzzzzzzz za za land kicks Maniac out ( Muthal kanave, muthal
kanave marupadi yen vanthai?? BG by Roja) Now back to reality
- Megs arrives and getsin to the car. Maniac asks her - " yenna ?
vilakku lighting for your wedding?" Megs negates the notion -
"illai Sir, enga family le neriya prachanai....ellam solve aaganum ,
appo thaan my wedding.... enga amma paavam sir..." does the Kalai clan
trade mark pastime.....cries.... Maniac is lost ( heelloo, if u want
marry this girl, some things are must - must have saucers or
side plates as eyes, ready to join the RKO by flick of a finger from
the captain Tilaga...... ready??) Well, the timeis not ripe for
proposing...... they drive away....

Athai walks in ..sees Muzhi on the bed...with foaming mouth....
runs around, screams for help and Muzhi is moved to the hospital -
one thing Roja knew was that the poison Muzhi consumed was
meant for the rats.... well Muzhi knows his roots, being a rodent
himself!!!!

Angu visits the doctor - shouts at him for a giving a false report.
The doctor says that santhanam begged him for a report like
this because he wanted to save his daughter's life. Angu now
tells him the danda clan story... "Loosu is my DIL, thisone is illegal..."
after narrating the whole story she says " ayyo athu ellam periya
kathai doctor...ippo athu ethukku ungalukku?" ( athaan sollittiye ,
apram enna??) Asks the doctor " did Viji come along with her
father?" Doctor says yes. Now Angu wants a favor -" i will bring
my clan here, can u tell them this?" Doctor is scred of Angu's stop
signal and her eyes - promises to even sign a bond...Angu pacifies
doctor and leaves....goes home, shouts so that the clan assembles
in the drawing room..... " avanga appa mattum thaan poi false report
kudukka sonnaar nnu sonnale, athu is not true.....intha sirikkiyum
kooda pOi irukka.... Loosu spreads side plates... moron gets ready
for doling out blows.... since danda has small eyes,he narrows them
some more....Viji is scared....Angu is back to being Bathrakaali...

Badrakaali Angu stares at the Danda clan - announces
Viji's misdemeanor..... pulls her out...... wants her to be
driven out...... the rest of the clan is too stunned to react...
Viji cries.....Nandhu nudges Tams who for once is at a loss
for words and actions.....Angu drags Viji.....Loosumani has
to play angel now and so stops athai ..."athai porum, intha
veet le nadantha drama ellam nikkattum...i will always be
your DIL....." ( intha moron kooda ennale irukka mudiyaathu,
divorce vaangindu kilambaren nnu solluviyaa??? ennamO pO,
entha nerathile unakku Loosumani nnu per vaichenO...
ulagam poora thedinaalum, unnai mathiri loosu kidaikkathu...
Loosu penne loosu penne loosu penne..Roja unnai inge
vittu kilamba solluraa...BG by Roja) Jagdu , please come

Samy and maniac - Samy wants itsy bitsy details of the proposed
proposal - maniac first describes his dream - first samy grins
thinking that it all happened for real...later knows that it was

Moron is drinking ( bottle mele bottle vanthu kudikkara
neram ithu, room katha vai Viji vanthu sathukira neram
ithu - BG by Roja) Viji comes slowly inside, has an
uncertain look ( adippanaa??? maattana??) Moron
is so drunk that he cant refill his glass - Viji quickly
steps in to play bar maid. Moron has visions of his
behaviour to Loosu - how she picked him up from the
road, how she was shocked when he brought the
bottles hidden under the malli poo etc., etc., Viji does
some explaining " If u keep quiet like this, it hurts me.
say some thing.... and i did what i did only because I
can not imagine life with out you.... and in your house,
every one wanted me out.... I know that u are not one
of them.." Moron listens to all this... and fallson the bed..
.asleep.. Viji lies on the floor ( either she cant stand moron's
alcoholic snore or moron is such a MCP that she is expected
to lie down, uh huh)

Muzhi is still with tubes - athai frets, kavi is in her parents' house
looking all gloomy....mommy tries to feed baby who refuses
to eat. Daady is happy that his daughter is "home alone"
but is very eager to drive his point home - further more -
"padichu padichu sonnen, antha urupadaatha payal sahavasam
vendam nnu, keetiya?? ippo enna aachu?? yenakku maanam pona
thu thaan miccham" ( un daughter kku padichu padichu solla

ya irukku un diction...) Kavi sulks some more... Athai times it well.
Tries to call Kavi in her mobile which gets shut unceremoniously.

Athai confers with the nurse in the hospital saying that her
nephew and his wife are in war mode and so does not
pick up the phone. the smart nurse suggests that she better
call from a pay phone - "unknown number and so she will pick up"
Athai tries the trick and asks the shop owner to call kavi. The
phone rings and Pounu picks up the phone. Other end wants
to know if that is Kavitha and Pounu just says"mmm" The
other end is happy to have contacted THE person and relays the
news "unga hubby Muzhi consumed poison...critical.... so and so
hospital.."

Pounu does not know if she should tell Kavi. Convenes an
emergency meeting with hubby - "intha mathiri vishayam,
enna seyyalaam??" Hubby is happy to get another chance
for kadichu thuppufying words ( antha dialog writer kitte
ivarukku yethO axe to grind... avarai kadikka mudiyame
words ai kadikkarrar!!) Finally tells wife that he does not
want Kavi to know this - "iva odane oduvaa, apram treatment
kku naa thaan panam azhanum.. Pray that he dies, ok?"
Pounu says that kavi might be very angry if she comes to
know but dad could not care less -"konja naal azhuvaa,
apram vera kalyanam pannidalaam, sonne, kolai thaan.."
Goes in to set right his tired teeth..as he is uncertain about
the next opportunity to bite words.... he has to be ready anyways...
Pounu is thoughtful.... Moron is sleeping and blabbers... "Kannumani,
nee nallava, antha Viji is criminal, I love u da, Kannu nee pass antha
Viji fail...I love u da kannu kannu* (apdi podu aruvaalai.. so Loosu
might get a chance to turn down this love confession??!!) Viji hears
this and is upset??scheming for the next move??? wait wait ,
whats the hurry, a long way to go...

Episode No 406 Monday 12/1/08

Tilaga's household - the captain decided to get back home -
guess maniac was heart broken!!! - Morning time.... all busy
danggggg Loosu Mani arrives - all alone!!!!! The clan is very
happy to welcome - well Muzhi's RKO is due any time, one
more pair of saucers are most welcome!!! - Loosu does not
share the enthusiasm. She is probed further and she spills
the beans - " I went there only because my MIL insisted. I did
not have hopes of moron accepting me. Now Viji is pregnant
and my staying there now is totally meaningless" ( amma di,
green pea size le oru brain irunthuthe, athu active thaanaa??)
Well, Tilaga cries ( the update is delayed with reason folks,
Roja ran out of tickets for RKO. Now that Muzhi's RKO is
imminent, she had to print a few books) Megs consoles mommy
" well, it is not unexpected...." Loosu says some thing that
sets Roja thinking...Paravaa illiye...Loosumani kku brain irukku...
" Amma, I will move outof this house and stay in some hostel.
i can go to work from there" Tilaga momentarily stops crying
and uses her eyes for their main purpose - looks at her
daughters - Loosu goes on to say that she is here only to forget
her marital woes -" if u keep crying , I loose my peace of mind"
The clan pacifies Tilaga and Loosu - Tilaga promises not
to cry (???? hmmmm yethanai naalaikku ithu??? Roja ippo thaan
tickets print panniyirukka, Tilagaaaaa and Roja needs that money
badly) Athu sari Angu thirumbi kondu vanthu vida koodathaa??

Danda clan - Danda sees darling Angu sitting alone and
sad. Deputes Tams as his envoy. Angu is upset and angry -
shouts at the clan "antha ponnu inimel inge irukkave
maatten nnu sollittu poitta.......Sridevi yai thorathi vittu ttu
Moodevi yai ulla vittu ttinga.... I am telling you folks,
this Viji will make sure to wipe out all your money" Viji
intervenes sand says that Angu is beingmean - well
words fly from both ends and moron intervenes - "Viji the milieu
is not right and so u go to your dad's place for some time. After that
I will fetch u back.." Viji is not sure but has no choice.

Muzhi in hospital - getting better - mumbles all the time "amma,
naa thappu pannitten" Athaiis not very happy "I take care of
him buthe thinks only about his mom??" Athai requests the
nurse to keep an eye on Muzhi and goes home for a bath
and change. Geetha and kanakku are on the road and Geetha
sees athai. Tells dad that some one from Kalai clan is unwell -
"lets go and see appa" Appa is not willing but Geetha insists.
Goes in and learns that it is Muzhi and he attempted suicide..

Episode No 407 Tuesday 13/1/09

Kodumaiya irukku ppa - Geetha sees Muzhi , gets all upset
(must have a crystal ball in hand) knows immediately that
the Tilaga clan is oblivious to this. Takes it up on her to call
"athai" and after making sure to raise the BP of Tilaga by some
dilly dallying....conveys the news. Tilaga rushes to the hospital
after asking Paatti to direct the rest to the hospital ( Roja has
printed new tickets amma, lets put them to good use) Guess
she will start a solo RKO in the auto and later the clan
will join - for the present she will be assisted by Geetha.

Viji comes home - cries - Santhanam says that he will wait for
a while - "apram oru nalla amount karanthuttu, Viji kku innoru
kalyanam pannidalaam" - Mom and daughter are not happy
about this . Mom says that viji wants a stable life....

Anitha and Megs - Anitha says that her parents are interested
in getting her married. But she has other plans. Megs probes..
Anitha says that she watched maniac on a few occasions and
found him to be a nice person - "love ellam illai but I feel that
he is good husband material. Can you talk to him?" Megs is
overjoyed to play the role of go between - agrees..

Freeze

No Megala for 2 days - enjoy folks - Roja and her madness
rests - temporarily.

Episode No 408 Friday 16/1/09

A worried Geetha peeps through the window and
feels bad for Muzhi. Tilaga arrives..... Geetha takes
"amma" and shows Muzhi lying down. Tilaga starts
her RKO..Geetha is all set to provide accompaniments..
Roja gets her ticket books out.... aww the nurse pours
ice cold water on Roja's money making plans ....
"satham pOdame pakkanum..ithu hospital..." Tilaga
goes in ...sees Muzhi....is upset and forgets the nurse..
Laments "ayyo ivanukku enna korai vaichen? yen ipdi
ellam panraan??" Athai comes in at that point and tells
Tilaga that her "naattamai" is the reason for all this
family sothappals - "nee naattamai panni thaan ipdi
aachu, ozhunga valarthiyaa avanai??" Geetha tries to
pacify athai but she is pooh pooh ed . Finally Tilaga
asks about Kavi and is told that Kavi does not care about
Muzhi any more - Tilaga wants to give a bitof her mind
to darling DIL - athaiis happy about this - "aamaa, nee
solli thaan kekka poraa..nalla sandai pOdu, na vedikkai
pakkaren" Geetha is a t a loss for words or actions.

Maniac at work - gets samy to his room ...fishes for some
flattery - " Megs family kku ennai pidikkumaa?? Na ponnu
kekkalaama??" Samy fans the fire by saying that it is destiny
