Simran calls the police commissioner who says that Sid would have to go to the police station and then he would speak with the officer-in-charge and sort out the matter.
Sid goes with Abhi to the police station and is questioned there. In the course of the conversation, Abhi seems a little unsatisfied and Yash mentions that he remembers having met Saroj, the woman who has accused him of raping her.
Aastha is very upset about the turn of events. Abhi, too, however is not fully convinced that Sid is innocent. The police send Sid home but ask him to remain in the city until the investigation is complete.
