'You Should Perform A Little More!'

My opinion is Indian Idol or orginal American Idol competion is not for only singing. Idol is someone you can look as your idol, a total personality. In manner, singing, performance, knowledge, everything matters. You have asked my opinion about this show so this is my two cents. Sa re ga ma pa and voice of India are shows for singing competition not Indian Idol. Idol means complete package.

well they arent the COMPLETE package if they cant sing.

Singing first. Perfect singing. After ALL contestants have achieved that, only then should they move towards the performance and establish their "X-factor".

..if that is the case other than abhijeet none of the former idols look like complete package..even abhijeet for that matter did not sing so well as he later did when he came in JJWS......Karunya was a complete package but his disavantage was he came from the south where hindi channels are not so popular so he was voted out....torsha sings well but keeping performance in mind the poor girl does not give her 100%..mohit only gives performance and singing takes a backseat...so dono ka combi yeh Indian idol mein ab tak nahin hein....

What matters more is singing as far performance goes than you can perform like Ankita or Mohit but if you don't sing well like them than there is no advantage as Acco. to the original format they have to Sing (properly).
