Kareena Kareena US Update March 10th 05!

😃Hi guys!, Sorry I was unable to update yesterday's episode but here is today's!

Recap: Tribhu tells Nilu Prem is getting engaged. Tushar warns Prem to never raise his hand on Kareena again otherwise he will have to deal with him [Tushar] and Prem tells him that if he is so concerned about Kareena why doesn't he marry her, Tushar is shocked. Tribhu reads in the papers that Prem is getting engaged to Ruhi and tries to hide the paper from Nilu.

Episode begins with Nilu asking for the papers and Tribhu is refusing to give her saying that he is still reading it. Tribhu cell rings and takes the call along with the papers, it is Kareena's call and she asks him if he has seen the papers. He says yes and says "The tigress of the Tigress Club is here" [he is referring to Nilu] and tells Kareena Nilu is after him for the papers but he won't ever give them to her! Kareena tells him not to let Nilu read the papers at any cost, however while is he trying to reassure Kareena, Nilu walks by Tribhu and grabs the paper from him, he disconnects the phone and goes behind Nilu. Tribhu fakes that he is in pain, and says he can't find his medicine and how no one cares for him. Nilu tells him he doesn't have to be melodramatic and goes to get his medicine. In the time she is gone, Tribhu hides the papers. Nilu returns and begins reading the papers, while Tribhu takes the papers and gets away, as Nilu is reading the papers she realizes it is from yesterday and asks Krishna for today's papers he can't find them. Tushar comes and says he found it, that Tribhu had them in the washroom. Tribhu grabs the papers from Tushar and asks "what is so special in the papers that everyone wants to read it?". Tribhu tells Nilu why would she want to read such things in the paper, but after a while gives her the papers and leaves, Nilu says his stomach is upset.

Prem is remembering everything his mother said to him about love, and everything he has done for Kareena. He asks himself "why is he thinking about these things?" "He will go mad". Ruhi arrives and asks him if he was thinking about Kareena and he avoids the topic. Prem starts talking about a scene from Dilwale Dulhanniya Le Jayenge but makes it his own, he also tell Prem how much he loves her, and she says that she has bought his engagement ring first. As she takes out the ring, Prem cell rings it is Kareena, she tells him that his photo is in the paper, the same things she is telling Prem so is Ruhi. He keeps saying sorry to Kareena, and disconnects the phone. He wonders who could have published the news in the paper and is completely ignoring Ruhi, he leaves Ruhi to go and ask his mom. Ruhi thinks to herself that she is standing right there and all he can think about he the published photo and calls him an idiot!

Tribhu is at Chamatkar, he sees one of the workers (sorry can't remember his name) reading the papers and Tribhu is afraid that the worker has read the news about Prem, so he decides to confront him. Tribhu tells the worker "your wife troubles you at home, that is why you read the papers here" but later finds out that the worker has read a story about a man who committed suicide because his wife used to torture him. Tribhu is relieved. Tribhu tells the worker that he shouldn't worry because his wife only makes him do the housework and he should read articles like this in the paper and think negative, and tells him to pay attention to his work. Just to be on the safe side Tribhu takes all the papers.

Prem confronts his mom who says that she didn't do it, she just told Mrs. Mulchandani😕 (I am guessing that this woman is a gossiper) and Prem's mom apologizes to him. Prem is worrying that if the truth is revealed Kareena will be in big trouble. Prem calls Kareena to check on her, he does all of this in front of Ruhi who is very disappointed, and agitiated.

Kareena is shown at Chamatkar, she is in Nilu's office. Nilu asks her what she is doing there, Kareena says she came to say 'Namaste'. Nilu says 'Namaste', Kareena says the same but only with one hand, Nilu asks her what type of greeting is this and asks Kareena what she has in her hand. Kareena says nothing, and Nilu says to say Namaste properly Kareena does, and leaves.

Tribhu and Kareena have the papers scattered all over the office trying to get the articles of Prem and Ruhi, when one of the articles flies out the door. As they go after the article, Nilu sees it and asks them what is going on. Kareena tells her that Prem is in the paper with Ruhi and tells Nilu that she doesn't want people to find out about it. Tribhu explains how Mrs. Sood is feeling upset. Nilu reassures Kareena and tells her about an obituary, but Kareena and Tribhu have blank looks on their faces😆.

At the engagement party, Prem is waiting impatiently for Kareena to arrive. Ruhi comes up to him and asks him if Kareena doesn't come will he not go through with the engagement he says of course he will, and she asks him how does she look, he says that she looks beautiful. Prem calls up Kareena and asks "Star where are you?" Kareena tells him that she is not coming, Prem can't believe it, but is surprised when he finds Kareena behind him. She is looking beautiful in a baby blue dress, Tribhu is behind her and has a box, on the outside of the box it has pictures Nilu 😆. Tribhu begins singing a birthday song ,and says may this day come again and again. Prem says that this day shouldn't come again and again. The engagement gets underway, but comes to a halt when Nilu arrives! she says that this engagement cannot happen! Kareena and Tribhu go into hiding! Prem's mother tries to reassure her that she is misunderstanding, but she tells Prem and Ruhi they are shameless and tells people that Prem is a married man and marrying another woman is illegal!. Nilu says that this engagement has to be stopped within 3 1/2 minutes. Everyone is shocked and Prem and Ruhi are disappointed. Episode ends.
