Hey very nice post....I still keep myself up to date with what's happening in KS...but than thats out of habit and ofcourse due to RK's presence in the show....However, it is very easy for me to skip watching the vdo and just do with the written update....this was a total no-no in 2006 or even in 2007 for that matter....KS had loopholes from the first year but I think till the AD phase it was fine...it was bearable......but post AD phase there has been no signs of improvement.....and now as I see all the original actors being replaced or killed.....its very disturbing....we have been loyal to KS but it seems the KS team has not been thankful....KS is loosing viewers because it is not loyal to its viewers😭

lets see what is the fate of KS....with the current storyline I dont believe it will survive through the next year.....Lets see.....

Thanks for an interesting post one again!

Kasamh se did not deserve to win but like you said about the show is true.

Sandeep no offence to anyone here but i am not a massive fan he was incharge no kayamath from what i know a little while back and responsible for the MALIKKKKKKKKKAAAAAA and the seperation track there....so hes not that great either. This to me seems to show that balaji serials all just follow set tracks whoevers in charge maybe because of certain people or the whole team thats there.
Fo EG i love kis desh at moment but you watch a few months or so down the line it will go same as every other show...balaji just forgets what made the serial what it is.

Very wonderfully put. SS and AK brought a simplicity to the storytelling where the characters rose, while after them the characters just fell victim to the story telling. Case in point SS showed great suspense and intrigue with Raksanda Khan but never made the characters or Jai or Bani suffer to glorify the vamp, so we loved the vamp too, but after them it seem it was merciless slaughter of the beloeved characters to glorify vamps and evil in the name of story and twists. BT dominated so many years beacause they had a fresh take and not much competition, now all their products are poor remakes of their earlier shows and other PHs with innovation and a simplicity of storytelling are winning the race.

At the end of the day, people can only take so much evil and grosness. I am surprised that she actually pays them to steal scene for sence from her own shows.

I totally agree with you!

Hi Abhilasha,
Great post. I was stunned when I saw that KS won for best continuing series. I agree with you that it is most likely because of the actors popularity definitely not the because of anything else. KS is absolutely disgusting. I wonder what the criteria was for this competition...just being on air...it couldn't be for creative storyline, or was it for best continuing serial using the bases most disgusting storylines possible.
Do people like Pia and the Walia morons really exist? Do they go around talking about ONS with all family members like it is nothing gross or disgusting. Pia is still loved and even being protected despite being one of the most disgusting characters I have ever seen.
It's hard to believe that Balaji can't understand that less is more. Balaji and EK believe that the grossness of ONS, children being murdered to move a plot, murderer enjoying 22 years of happiness (who cares if JW loved her or not) and even having a child with your children's murderer are good entertaining factors while a simple love story that brought KS to its heights of glory was not worth pursuing but was worthy of destruction.
As Megs said, "At the end of the day, people can only take so much evil and grossness."
Everybody loves a love story or some happiness. I just saw Will Smith's 'Seven Pounds" with my husband who at the end of the movie, said "I don't ever want to see this movie again." He said the same thing about 'Castaway'. Why?? Because both movies didn't have happy endings according to him. Sorry my point is even men want to see happy endings....
